INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADVANTEX NARROW (01DN) TRIM OR WIDE (01D) TRIM

PREPARING THE DOOR

1. Mark and centerpunch the exit device mounting plate holes according to the exit device instructions.
2. Drill pilot holes at centerpunched locations. CAUTION: Be sure to drill STRAIGHT through the door.
3. For METAL doors: DEVICE SIDE: drill a 5/16″ hole
   TRIM SIDE: drill 1/2″ hole
   For WOOD doors: drill a 1/2″ hole through a door

ASSEMBLE THE OUTSIDE TRIM AND BACKPLATE AS SHOWN BELOW.

Resume the exit device instructions.
