Product Usage Instructions:
To use the PIR Standalone Motion Sensor (model HBIR29/2CH),
follow these steps:
- Ensure that the operating voltage is within the range of
220-240VAC at 50/60Hz. - Install the motion sensor in the desired location using the
provided ceiling/surface mount box or any suitable accessory. - Select the appropriate PIR lens and blind inserts for optimal
motion detection. - Connect the HBIR29/2CH to the power supply.
- Download the smartphone app “Koolmesh Pro” from the App Store
or Google Play Store, depending on your device’s operating system
(iOS or Android). - Launch the app and follow the on-screen instructions to create
an account and set up your project. - Use the app’s quick setup mode or advanced setup mode to
configure the motion sensor according to your requirements. - If needed, use bulk commissioning to copy and paste settings
for multiple devices. - Utilize the web app/platform (www.iot.koolmesh.com) for project
deployment and data analysis. - Manage permission levels via authority management to control
access to the motion sensor’s settings and data. - For on-site configuration, use the Koolmesh Pro app
specifically designed for iPad. - Share the network settings with other devices via QR code or
keycode. - Use the floorplan feature to simplify project planning and
visualize the placement of luminaires. - Take advantage of interoperability with other Hytronik
Bluetooth products for enhanced functionality. - Replace devices easily with the one-key device replacement

Product Description
HBIR29/2CH is Bluetooth PIR standalone motion sensors with two
independent channel outputs. One is DALI channel output (50mA DALI
power supply built in), which can control up to 25 LED drivers. The other
is voltage-free contact, which is NC (normally closed contact). It is ideal
for typical indoor applications such as office, classroom, healthcare and
other commercial areas. With Bluetooth wireless mesh networking, it
makes communication between luminaires much easier without
time-consuming hardwiring, which eventually saves costs for projects
(especially for retrofit upgrade projects!). Meanwhile, simple device setup
and commissioning can be done via
app.

Smart Phone to Device Range

The smart device with the App installed will have a typical range of 10m, but varies from device to device. During commissioning, the installer will need to be in range of the devices when searching for devices to add to the network.
Once the devices have been added to the network via the App, the devices will start communicating within the wireless mesh. This means that once the network is complete, all devices are accessible from the smart device when in a 20m range of a single point.
