My Readyclean®/powerease® Upright Carpet Cleaner Has No Suction | Support

If you are experiencing No/Low Suction, follow these steps to resolve:

  • Check the base of the machine to ensure the bare floor tool is not attached while using on carpet
  • Remove and empty the dirty water tank
  • With the dirty tank removed, check for suction at the motor duct
  • Remove the foam filter located in the dirty water tank and clean with warm water
  • Allow foam filter to completely dry before placing back in the tank
  • Inspect the dirty water tank for any cracks or damage
  • Remove the front nozzle by pulling up the metal latch, inspect for any cracks or damage and clean
    • The front nozzle can be cleaned by running under water or with a pipe cleaner
    • If front nozzle is damaged, a new nozzle should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
