If you are experiencing No/Low Suction, follow these steps to resolve:
- Check the base of the machine to ensure the bare floor tool is not attached while using on carpet
- Remove and empty the dirty water tank
- With the dirty tank removed, check for suction at the motor duct
- Is there suction at the motor duct?
- Yes > Turn off and unplug machine
- No > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Is there suction at the motor duct?
- Remove the foam filter located in the dirty water tank and clean with warm water
- Allow foam filter to completely dry before placing back in the tank
- Inspect the dirty water tank for any cracks or damage
- If damaged, a new dirty water tank should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
- Remove the front nozzle by pulling up the metal latch, inspect for any cracks or damage and clean
- The front nozzle can be cleaned by running under water or with a pipe cleaner
- If front nozzle is damaged, a new nozzle should be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
