If you are experiencing No/Low Suction, follow these steps to resolve:
- Take clean and dirty water tanks off the machine
- Empty dirty water tank


- Look into opening in front of clean water tank
- If there is no visibility to the floor, tilt the machine back to peer through opening
- Clear any obstructions
- If you are unable to clear obstructions, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Reattach them separately
- Open the attachment hose door on top of the dirty water tank

- Hold your palm over the opening to feel for suction
- Is there suction?
- No > Clear debris in the front tank where the gasket goes around an opening
- Test for suction over the opening after debris is cleared > Is there suction?
- Yes > Unplug machine and continue troubleshooting
- No > Visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Test for suction over the opening after debris is cleared > Is there suction?
- Yes > Unplug machine and continue troubleshooting
- No > Clear debris in the front tank where the gasket goes around an opening
- Is there suction?
- Take the top off the dirty water tank and inspect the red float and baffle
- If the float and baffle does not move side-to-side freely, does not move at all, or is stuck closed, a new tank top will need to be ordered > Go to Parts & Supplies
- Examine the gaskets around the end of the hose
- Are the gaskets missing or torn?
- Yes > Order a replacement Hose > Go to Parts & Supplies
- No > Continue troubleshooting
- Are the gaskets missing or torn?
- Examine hose for cracks
- Is hose cracked?
- Yes > Order a replacement Hose > Go to Parts & Supplies
- No > Test for suction
- Is hose cracked?
