- If large debris becomes lodged in the brush roll, it will automatically shut off
- Unplug machine and remove obstruction
- Wait 15 minutes for the motor to cool down before turning back on
- After this time, the brush should function correctly
- If no obstruction found the belt may be broken OR the brush roll may need to be cleaned of debris
- Remove foot assembly by pressing button on back of foot assembly and pulling foot
- Turn the foot assembly over and remove the 3 Philips head screws from the brush cover
- Remove the brush roll to access the belt
- Check the end caps on the brush roll for damage or debris
- Clean brush of debris build-up
- If belt or brush are damaged, they should be replaced
- When brush is cleaned, reattach belt and reassemble into machine
- Re-secure brush cover with the 3 screws
- Reattach foot assembly onto machine
