- Brush must be on “hi/lo” to turn
- Push up once for “lo”
- Push up twice for “hi”
- It is normal for the brush motor to make a higher pitched noise in the “hi” setting
- Hand Vac and Foot Assembly should be securely locked into place
- Parts will click if properly locked in place
- Gaskets in Hand Vac and on extension wand that connects to the foot must be clear of debris
- Brush roll will not turn if jammed
- Unplug machine
- Turn the yellow tab on the left side (with brush closest to you) using a coin
- Remove the white belt cover to remove brush
- Clean debris from brush and endcaps
- If belt is broken, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
