- Empty Dirt cup
- Clean the filter of any debris
- Filter can be washed with mild dish soap and warm water
- Allow to completely dry (24 – 48 hrs.) before reinstalling in dirt cup
- Filter should be replaced as needed
- It takes approximately 16 hours to fully charge the battery
- Machine must be in the OFF position for the battery to charge
- Red indicator light illuminates and stays on while charging
- Correct charger must be used
- Model series on the charger label should be: YLS0041-T160013
- If charger (cord or prongs) is damaged, it should be replaced
- Verify charger is plugged into a working outlet
- Test by plugging in a cell phone or other small appliance
- If no power to outlet, test a different outlet in other room
- Reset circuit breaker if needed
- Check to see if charger is warm after being plugged in for several minutes
- If charger is not warm, it should be replaced
- If the charger is warm and machine still has no charger/power, please Contact Us
- Check the brush roll for an obstruction
- If large debris becomes lodged in the brush roll, it will automatically shut off
- Turn off and remove obstruction
- Wait 15 minutes for the motor to cool down before turning back on
