- Make sure the foot and hand vac are fully inserted into the body of the machine
- Detach the hand vac from the body of the machine
- Remove dirt container from hand vac
- Power the machine on and check for suction at the circular motor duct
- If no suction at the motor duct, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Empty the dirt cup
- Press button to release from machine
- Clean the filters
- Pull out the separator which contains the filters from the middle of the dirt cup
- Pull out white pleated filter and tap over garbage to clear any debris
- This filter is NOT washable
- Pull out the black foam filter located underneath the white pleated filter and clear any debris
- It may be washed
- Must air dry completely before replacing into machine
- If you clean with this machine frequently, the filters may need to be replaced
- With the hand vac removed, turn the power on and check for suction at the nozzle
- If there is no suction, check to see if the nozzle is clogged – remove obstructions and check for suction again
- Remove foot assembly and check for clogs
- If there is still no suction, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
Blowing Dust
- Make sure dirt cup is properly attached to the hand vac
- They should click into place
- The dirt cup should have no space between where the dirt cup meets the battery pack
- Make sure both filters are installed correctly into the debris bin cup
- The foam filter goes underneath white pleated filter
