Hot air from vents or blowing dust are usually results of clogs
  • Empty Dirt cup
  • Take the Hand Vac off and check for suction at the end of the Hand Vac
    • If there is suction, push a broomstick through the end of the wand to remove any obstructions
    • Lay the elbow of the foot as flat as you can and push any debris through with a broomstick
  • If there is no suction at the hand vacuum, check the filters
    • Machine has thermal fuse that causes it to shut down if the filters, wand, or foot are clogged
    • Pull up on the filter tab on the hand vac to remove cover
    • Pull out the separator
    • Unlock the filters from the separator and pull the two filters apart
      • Check both sides of filters since the top may appear clean but the bottom can be very dirty
      • Both filters are washable
      • Make sure to allow to dry completely (24-48 hrs) before reinstalling in machine
