Product Information

The A4AH4E30A1B30A is a 2.5 Ton Convertible Air Handler. It is
designed for installation with various Split System Air
Conditioners and Heat Pumps. The unit has a rated voltage of
208-230 volts, operates on a single phase with a frequency of 60Hz,
and uses R-410A refrigerant. The air handler features a plate fin
indoor coil with 4 rows and 14 fins per inch. It has a face area of
3.44 square feet and uses a 3/8 inch tube size. The refrigerant
control is a TXV (Thermal Expansion Valve) and the drain connection
size is 3/4 inch NPT. The unit has a centrifugal indoor fan with a
diameter-width of 11 x 8 inches. It operates with a single direct
drive motor with a horsepower of 1/3 and a motor speed of 1050
RPM.

The dimensions of the air handler are as follows: Crated
dimensions – 48-1/4 x 22-1/2 x 25-1/2 inches, Uncrated dimensions –
46-3/4 x 18-1/2 x 21-1/8 inches. The shipping weight is 145 lbs and
the net weight is 138 lbs.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure that the installation clearances to combustible
    material, as stated on the unit rating nameplate, are
    followed.
  2. Refer to the outline drawing in the user manual for the
    specific dimensions of the air handler.
  3. Connect the gas line using a 3/4 inch braze fitting.
  4. Connect the refrigerant lines using 3/4 inch coupling for the
    gas line and 3/8 inch coupling for the liquid line.
  5. Install the air handler in a suitable location, ensuring proper
    clearance for airflow and service access.
  6. Connect the air handler to the duct system using the
    appropriate duct connections.
  7. Refer to the fan performance table in the user manual for the
    CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) vs. static pressure data.
  8. If using heaters, refer to the heater model numbers and minimum
    airflow CFM table to determine the appropriate heater model and
    settings.
  9. Refer to the heater pressure drop table for the pressure drop
    at different airflow rates.
  10. Refer to the performance and electrical data tables for air
    flow performance and electrical specifications.
  11. Ensure that all electrical connections are made according to
    local electrical codes and regulations.
  12. Perform any necessary startup procedures and test the air
    handler for proper operation.
