Product Usage Instructions

To install and use the Air Handler Model A TEM4A0B31M31SB:

1. Ensure that the unit is approved for installation clearances to
   combustible material as stated on the unit rating nameplate.
2. Refer to the Split System Outdoor Unit Product Data Guides for
   performance data and approved combinations of Air Handlers and
   Heaters.
3. Install the air handler according to the outline drawing
   provided in the user manual.
4. Connect the refrigerant line using a 3/8-inch coupling or
   connection size for the liquid line and a 3/4-inch coupling or
   connection size for the gas line.
5. Connect the ducts to the indoor fan, which is a centrifugal
   type with a diameter-width of 11 x 8 inches and one direct drive –
   five speeds. Refer to the fan performance table for more
   information.
6. Install the heater racks and connect them to the appropriate
   heater model number as listed in the user manual.
7. Turn on the air handler and adjust the airflow speed according
   to your needs using the minimum heat speed tap. Refer to the heater
   pressure drop table for more information.
