Product Information
This is a lighting fixture with Model# JYL9919. The product
dimensions are W38.5XH2248X6.5”E. The product comes with a
mounting plate, canopy, finial, lamp body, long tube, short tube,
gasket, nut, wrench, shade, and bulbs.
The product requires installation by a licensed electrician. The
main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker
should be switched off before installation. The item should be
inspected carefully before attempting to install. If there is any
damage or obvious defect, the item should not be installed. Once
installed, the item may not be returned.
The estimated assembly time for the product is 20 minutes. The
product has specific requirements for connecting the hot and
neutral wires based on their cord type and color. The product has
grounding instructions for installation in the United States and
Canada.
The product comes with type B bulbs with a maximum wattage of 40
watts or CFL/LED bulbs with a maximum wattage of 13/9 watts
respectively.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before beginning assembly of the product, ensure all parts are
present and undamaged. Do not attempt to assemble the product if
any part is missing or damaged. - Separate the mounting plate from the canopy by removing the
canopy nut anti-clockwise. - Fix one end of the finial to the lamp body.
- Fix the long tube and short tube to the lamp body in turn.
- Pass one end of the short tube through the canopy, gasket, nut,
and then fix it with a wrench. - Attach the mounting plate onto the J-box and secure it by
turning 2 mounting screws clockwise till tight. - Connect the hot, black or red outlet supply wire to the black
parallel cord (round & smooth) clear, brown, gold or black
without tracer (colored insulated wire not green) copper metal
conductor. - Connect the neutral, white outlet supply wire to the white
parallel cord (square & ridged) clear, brown, gold or black
with tracer (colored stripes) insulated wire (not green) with
silver metal conductor. - For installation in the United States, wrap the ground wire
from the outlet box around the green ground screw on the mounting
bracket. If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect it
to the outlet ground wire with a wire connector. For installation
in Canada, if the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, wrap it
around the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket. - Attach the canopy of the lamp body to the mounting plate and
fix it by turning the canopy nut clockwise. - Install the shade on the lamp cap of the lamp body.
- Insert the bulbs into the sockets. Be sure to use a light bulb
with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make
sure that electrical current is turned off before changing
bulbs.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture. To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slighly damperned clean clorth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture. Do not use any cleaners with chemical, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes. 1. Separate the Mounting Plate(I) from the Canopy(E) by removing the Canopy Nut(L) anti-clockwise.
2. Fix one end of the Finial (A) to the Lamp Body (B) 3. Fix the Long Tube (C) and Short Tube (D) to the Lamp Body (B) in turn
4. Pass one end of the Short Tube (D) through the Canopy (E), Gasket (F), Nut(G), and then fix it with Wrench (H)
5. Attach the Mounting Plate ( I ) onto the J-box and secure it by turning 2 Mounting Screws (K) clockwise till tight.

*Note: When parallel wire ( SPT I & SPT II ) is used. The neutral wire is square shaped and ridged and the hot wire will be round in shape and smooth. ( See Illustration on left. )
Grounding Instructions: a) For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw on mounting bracket, no less than 2″ from wire end. Tighten ground screw. If fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to outlet ground wire with a wire connector. b) For installation in Canada: If fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire around green grounding screw on mounting bracket. Tighten ground screw.
6. Attach the Canopy of the Lamp body(B) to the Mounting Plate ( I ) and fix it by turning the Canopy Nut (L) clockwise.
7. Install the Shade (M) on the lamp cap of the Lamp Body (B)
8. Insert the bulbs (N) into the Sockets. Be sure to use light bulb(M) with wattage no greater than specified on this fixture. Always make sure that electrical current is turned off before changing bulbs.
PLEASUE USE TYPE”B” BULB MAX 40-WATT OR CFL BULB MAX 13-WATT OR LED MAX 9-WATT THERE ARE 5 X 4W LED BULBS IN THE BOX.
