Product Information
This lighting fixture is designed to provide illumination in
indoor spaces. The model number of this product is JYL7587A, and
its dimensions are 17.875 inches in diameter and adjustable in
height from 33 to 92 inches. The package includes the following
parts:
- Mounting bar (A) – 1 piece
- Lock link (I) – 1 piece
- Ground screw (B) – 1 piece
- Outlet box screw (C) – 1 piece
- Fixture body (J) – 2 pieces
- Wire nut (D) – 3 pieces
- Canopy nut (E) – 2 pieces
- Canopy unit (F) – 1 piece
- Chain (G) – 1 piece
- Rod (H) – 1 piece
- Light bulb (K) – 1 piece (4-watt LED bulb included in the
box)
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the assembly, ensure that all parts are
present. Compare the parts with the package contents list and
hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not
proceed with the assembly. - Estimated assembly time is approximately 20 minutes.
- Attach the mounting bar (A) to the junction box using the
outlet box screw (C). - Connect the fixture body (J) and rod (H) together using the
lock link (I). Attach the metal chain (G) to the canopy unit (F) on
the top and attach it to the rod (H) on the bottom. - Connect the wires as follows:
- Connect the Hot, Black, or Red Outlet Supply Wire to the Black
wire of the parallel cord (round & smooth). - Connect the Neutral, White Outlet Supply Wire to the White wire
of the parallel cord (square & ridged). - Connect any Clear, Brown, Gold, or Black wire without Tracer
(colored stripes) to the Insulated Wire (not green) with copper
metal conductor. - Connect any Clear, Brown, Gold, or Black wire with Tracer
(colored stripes) to the Insulated Wire (not green) with Silver
metal conductor.
Note: When using parallel wire (SPT I & SPT II), the neutral
wire is square shaped and ridged, while the hot wire will be round
in shape and smooth.
- Wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green
ground screw (B) on the mounting bracket, at least 2 inches from
the wire end. Tighten the ground screw. - If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect it to
the outlet ground wire using a wire connector.
- If the fixture is supplied with a ground wire, wrap it around
the green grounding screw on the mounting bracket. Tighten the
ground screw.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE To clean the outside of the fixture, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the surface of the fixture. To clean the inside of the fixture, first disconnect power to the fixture by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box. Next, use a dry or slightly dampened clean cloth (use clean water, never a solvent) to wipe the interior surface of the fixture. Do not use any cleaners with chemical, solvents or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully.

PREPARATION
Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts with package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product. Estimated Assembly Time: 20 minutes. 1. Attach the mounting bar (A) to the junction box with outlet box screw (C).
2. Connect the fixture body (J) and rod (H) together with lock link (I), attach the metal chain (G) to the canopy unit (F) on the top and attach it to the rod (H) on the bottom.
3. Connect wires.
Connect, Hot, Black or Red Outlet Supply Wire to:
Black * Parallel Cord (round & smooth)
Connect, Neutral, White Outlet Supply Wire to:
White * Parallel Cord (square & ridged)
Clear, Brown, Gold or Black without Tracer (colored stripes)
Clear, Brown, Gold or Black with Tracer (colored stripes)
Insulated Wire (not green) with copper metal conductor
Insulated Wire (not green) with Silver metal conductor.

Grounding Instructions: a) For installation in the United States: Wrap ground wire from outlet box around green ground screw(B) on mounting bracket, no less than 2″ from wire end. Tighten ground screw. If fixture is supplied with a ground wire, connect to outlet ground wire with a wire connector. b) For installation in Canada: If fixture is supplied with ground wire, wrap ground wire around green grounding screw on mounting bracket. Tighten ground screw.
3. Raise the canopy unit (F) thread to the outlet box screws, secure with canopy nut (E). 4. Install the light bulb (K) to the socket.
