CHD 2460 Ruhlmann Single Sconce Light
Product Information
The Ruhlmann Single Sconce (Item # CHD 2460) is a light fixture
designed for wall mounting. It requires a bulb (not included) for
operation. The fixture should be installed in accordance with all
applicable local installation codes and by a person familiar with
its construction and operation, as well as the hazards
involved.
Before installation, carefully inspect the item and contents for
any damage or defects. If any are found, do not install the
fixture. Retain all packaging material until installation is
complete and approved.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box.
- Remove the mounting plate (B) from the backplate (E) by
loosening the side screws (D). - Affix the mounting plate (B) to the outlet box and secure it
with the mounting screws (C). - Connect the hot wire (BLACK) from the fixture to the hot wire
from the electrical outlet box. Ensure a secure connection. - Connect the neutral wire (WHITE) from the fixture to the
neutral wire from the electrical outlet box. Ensure a secure
connection. - If applicable, connect the ground wire (GREEN or BARE) from the
fixture to the ground wire from the electrical outlet box. Ensure a
secure connection. - Attach the backplate (E) to the mounting plate (B) using the
side screws (D). Tighten them securely. - Install a bulb (not included) into the bulb socket (F).
- Once installation is complete, turn on the power and test the
fixture to ensure it is functioning properly.
Care Instructions
Clean the fixture only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster.
Do not use abrasive or chemical agents, as they may damage the
finish or components.
This product is UL listed for use in the United States.

NOTICE:

1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. 2. Remove the mounting plate (B) from the backplate (E) by loosening
side screws (D). 3. Affix mounting plate (B) to the outlet box and secure with mounting
screws (C). 4. Connect the hot wire (BLACK) from the fixture to the hot wire from
the outlet box (usually BLACK). Fasten them together with a plastic wire connector (A) provided and wrap the connection with electrical tape. 5. Repeat this procedure for the neutral wire (WHITE) from the fixture to the wire from the outlet box (usually WHITE). DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OR SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED. 6. Connect ground wire from the fixture (bare copper) to ground wire from the outlet box (usually green or copper in color). IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT THIS FIXTURE BE GROUNDED. 7. Attach the backplate (E) to the mounting plate (B) and secure with side screws (D). 8. Insert bulb (not included) into the socket. 9. Clip the shade (F) onto the bulbs. 10. Installation is complete, turn on power at fuse or circuit breaker.
