Examine the Tank
- Unplug machine
- Fill water tank
- Check tank for cracks or leaks
- If tank is damaged, a replacement will need to be ordered
- Re-install tank making sure it clicks into place

- Knocking noise will diminish once water is pulled from tank
- If knocking noise continues, remove and re-install tank until it clicks in place
- Tube with metal ball should move freely inside tank
- If not, remove tank and lightly shake to free the metal ball allowing it to rest on tank bottom
- Tube should always be attached to metal ball
- Only fill tank with distilled water, reverse osmosis water, tap water, or BISSELL Scented Demineralized water
- Minerals from tap water can build up easier and faster than distilled or reverse osmosis water
