DO NOT USE VINEGAR OR ANY SOLUTION IN THE WATER TANK – WATER ONLY
- Turn off and unplug the machine
- Check the trigger for tension
- If no tension, disassemble handle and reassemble
- If it does have tension, check the filter
- Remove filter
- Check for cracks in the filter on the side or the top
- If there are cracks, the filter will need to be replaced
- Check color of filter grains
- Filter grains should be green
- If filter grains are blue, replace the filter
- Filter grains should be green
- Check the filter to make sure it is seated correctly with no gaps
- Check for cracks in the filter on the side or the top
- Remove filter
- Check the tank
- Make sure the tank is full of room temperature water and that the cap is installed properly and tight
- Check the cap over a sink
- If it doesn’t release water, it may need to be replaced
- Check to see if the Ready Light is on
- The heater may take up to a minute to heat
- If blue ready light is not on make sure the power cord is plugged into a functioning outlet
- If the ready light will not come on after a minute and/or the machine does not heat up, please contact us
- If blue ready light is on depress trigger, it may take up to 2 minutes to steam initially
- Check for steam with the tank and filter off the machine, by pouring a small amount of cold water into the hole where the filter connects to the machine and depress the trigger for up to 2 minutes
- Make sure the pod is connected to the base before checking for steam
- If no steam, with mop-head removed and machine unplugged, check for steam at the spray tip by taking off the single screw at the base of the machine
- Make sure the pod is connected to the base after mop head is removed before proceeding
- If there is steam with the mop-head removed, mop head may be clogged
- Pour white vinegar through the top of the Mop Head to clear the clog
- If there is no steam with the mop-head removed, unplug and clean the spray tip with paper clip
- Make sure to remove pod before cleaning spray tip
- If there is steam with the mop-head removed, mop head may be clogged
- Make sure the pod is connected to the base before checking for steam
- If there is steam by pouring water into filter hole
- Check for water in the filter
- When the filter is new, it may take a couple of minutes for the machine to pump water through it
- The machine may make a louder noise while it is doing this, but should soon subside
- The filter can be soaked in cold water for 10 to 15 minutes to saturate it
- Check for water in the filter
- Check the trigger for tension
- If there is no tension, remove the upper handle and reinstall
- Make sure the handle is completely tightened to lock into place
- If still no tension, a new handle will need to be ordered
- If there is no tension, remove the upper handle and reinstall
- Check to make sure the pod is properly seated on the machine
- It will “click” into place
- Remove the pod and make sure the hose on the pod is locked into place correctly
- If hose is not secured properly into base, secure hose and then place pod back on base
