E10M DIN Type Mortise Locks
Product Information
This is an installation guide for the E10M model of a DIN type
mortise lock. The lock is not included in the package. The guide
provides instructions and diagrams for the installation
process.
Product Usage Instructions
Before starting the installation, please ensure that you have
all the necessary tools and components:
- BOLT (x4*)
- PH2 (x2)
- TORX 20 (x1)
- TORX 10 (x1)
- TORX 20 (x4)
- ALLEN 3 (x2)
- LR03 AAA batteries
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Prepare for Installation
- Make sure you have the correct mortise lock for
installation. - Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on
installation.
Step 2: Mortise Lock Cable Connection
Follow the diagram labeled “Mortise lock cable connection” for
this step.
- Connect the plug according to the diagram.
Step 3: Install the Mortise Lock
Refer to the diagram labeled “Installation” for this step.
- Place the mortise lock in the designated location.
- Use the provided BOLT and tighten them using a TORX 20
screwdriver.
Step 4: Program the Lock
IMPORTANT: Do not close the door before programming the
lock.
- Follow the instructions in the user manual to program the
lock.

Eng SALTO recommends the use of a mortise lock, with a maximum 4º pre-turn. E SALTO recomienda utilizar cerraduras con un pregiro maximo de 4º. D SALTO empfiehlt den Einsatz von Einsteckschlössern mit max. 4° Vorspannung. F SALTO recommande d’utiliser des serrures à mortaiser avec un angle au repos de 4° maximum. I SALTO raccomanda l’utilizzo di una serratura con un angolo di pre-rotazione massimo di 4°.
