1091ADMR Concealed Mortise Bolt Lock
Product Information:
The product is the 1091ADMR (.865 BACKSET) CONCEALED MORTISE
BOLT LOCK with MECHANICAL RELEASE FAIL-SAFE (SINGLE CYLINDER PREP)
manufactured by SECURITY DOOR CONTROLS. It is designed for use in
aluminum or hollow metal doors. The lock features a stainless steel
bolt with a 5/8″ bolt throw and a backset of .865. The face plate
measures 10-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ x 1/8″ and the strike plate measures 4″ x
1-1/2″ x 1/8″. The lock requires a 1-1/8″ cylinder (not included)
and can be used with a standard straight cam ILCO (863G) or
equivalent. Please note that dimensional references are subject to

Product Usage Instructions:
Aluminum Frame Preparation:
- Tap 8 tabs for #10-32 screws on the frame.
- Prepare a cylinder hole with a diameter of 1-1/8″.
Door Preparation:
- Tap 2 holes for #10-32 screws on the door.
Hollow Metal Frame Preparation:
- Tap 8 tabs for #10-32 screws on the frame.
- Prepare a cylinder hole with a diameter of 1-1/8″.
Reversing the Cylinder:
- Remove the Cylinder locking set screw.
- Screw the Cylinder out of the Mounting Block.
- Remove the four screws securing the Mounting Block and the
Sliding Link Block.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR REVERSING THE CYLINDER
Cylinder Locking Set Screw
Remove the Cylinder locking set screw, and screw the Cylinder out of the Mounting Block.
Remove the four screws securing the Mounting Block and the Sliding Link Block.

Reverse the components and re-install as shown.
Make sure the sliding Link Block is aligned properly
