Product Information

The product is Item#2736-709, a fixture with chain loop for
indoor use. The package includes a mounting plate, canopy, support
cable, quick link, loop, rods, glass shade, metal ring, and
candelabra base bulbs. The fixture can accommodate up to 5 bulbs
with a maximum wattage rating of 60 watts each or CFL/LED
equivalent.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and
    remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
  2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in
    a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary
    for installation.
  3. Connect threading nuts (J) at the end of cable into coupling
    (K) on fixture body. Determine desired hanging height and thread
    rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (I) on fixture body. Screw loop
    (H1) onto rod (F1). Carefully pass wires through each rod as you
    assemble.
  4. Attach quick link (G) to loop (H1) and loop (H2) on canopy (D).
    Carefully feed the wire through loop (H1), quick link (G), and loop
    (H2).
  5. Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box with mounting screws
    (B). The side of the mounting plate with GND marked on it and two
    convex points must face out.
  6. Align the fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (P) on
    the end of support cable (C) and a slot located on mounting plate
    (A). Carefully allow the support cable (C) to support the weight of
    the fixture while wiring.
  7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2, making sure
    that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a
    ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground
    wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly
    to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. Tuck wire
    connectors neatly into the junction box.
  8. Slide canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws
    (E).
  9. Slide glass shade (M) over socket (L) and secure with metal
    ring (N).
  10. Install (5) five candelabra base bulbs (O) up to 60 watts each
    or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the
    fixture specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE
    RATING!
  11. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

PREPARATION (Fig. 1)
1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and remove
the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a
clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation. ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE WITH CHAIN LOOP (Fig.1&Fig. 3)
3. Connect threading nuts (J) at the end of cable into coupling (K)
on fixture body. Determine desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (I) on fixture body. Screw loop (H1) onto rod (F1). Carefully pass wires through each rod as you assemble.
4. Attach quick link (G) to loop (H1) and loop (H2) on canopy (D).
Carefully feed the wire through loop (H1), quick link (G), and loop (H2).
5. Attach mounting plate (A) to junction box (not included) with
mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5″). The side of the mounting plate with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out.
6. The support cable is provided to support the weight of the fixture
while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting plate (A) and attach hook (P) on the end of support cable (C) and a slot located on mounting plate (A). Carefully allow the support cable (C) to support the weight of the fixture while wiring. CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)
7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that
all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided.
8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1)
9. Slide canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws
(E).
10. Slide glass shade (M) over socket (L) and secure with metal ring
(N).
11. Install (5) five candelabra base bulbs (O) up to 60 watts each or
CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
