Product Information: Installation Instructions

The product being referred to is item number 2665-723. The
installation instructions were last updated on April 2, 2022. These
instructions come with a warning to shut off the power supply from
the fuse or circuit breaker before starting the installation
process. The product comes with several parts, including wooden
drops, candle covers, crossbar, ground screw, mounting screw, and
chain pliers. It is essential to use the right chain pliers to open
and close the chain included with the fixture. The fixture is
designed to accommodate five candelabra base bulbs of up to 60
watts each or CFL or LED equivalent.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Start by shutting off the power supply from the fuse or circuit
    breaker.
  2. If necessary, remove the old fixture, including mounting
    hardware.
  3. Remove the fixture from the carton and ensure that all parts
    are present as shown in the illustration.
  4. Adjust the arms to the appropriate position as per the
    illustration.
  5. Screw the fixture loop to coupling.
  6. Thread all thread into the ceiling loop until it is snug.
  7. Thread the other end of the all thread into crossbar.
  8. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3 and ensure that
    all wire connectors are secured.
  9. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper),
    connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the
    fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar using the green
    screw provided.
  10. Tuck wire connections neatly into the outlet box.
  11. Raise canopy to ceiling and secure it with a lock collar.
  12. Place bobeches over candle covers.
  13. Hang wooden drops onto the fixture body in proper
    position.
  14. Thread finial to fixture body and attach wooden drop.
  15. Install five candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL
    or LED equivalent in accordance with the fixture specification. Do
    not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
  16. Use proper chain pliers to open and close the chain included
    with the fixture. Do not use other tools that may twist or stress
    the chain links.
  17. Once the installation is complete, return power to the outlet
    box and test the fixture.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1) 1. Shut off the power at the fuse box or circuit breaker. If
necessary, remove old fixture, including mounting hardware. 2. Carefully remove fixture from carton and check that all parts are
included as shown in the illustration. 3. Adjust the arms (I) to proper position. Refer to illustration (L). 4. Screw fixture loop (A) to coupling (B).
MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 2) 5. Thread all thread into ceiling loop until snug. 6. Thread the other end of the all thread into crossbar. Note: The
length of the all thread into crossbar may be adjusted if necessary. 7. Secure all thread to crossbar with hex nut. 8. Take crossbar assembly and mount it to outlet box using the mounting screws (Size: #8-32N*L1″). The side of crossbar marked “GND” must face out. 9. Open quick link and connect to fixture loop, then close quick link. 10. By measuring, determine the correct number of links needed for desired hanging height. Using chain pliers, disconnect and discard excess chain. 11. Carefully lace fixture wires through chain. 12. Slip lock collar and canopy over chain and allow them to rest on fixture body. 13. Open the quick link and attach it to the ceiling loop, then close quick link. 14. Carefully feed fixture wires through ceiling loop and all thread and pull until tight.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 3) 15. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3 making sure that
all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the crossbar using the green screw provided. 16. Tuck wire connections neatly into outlet box. Raise canopy to ceiling and secure with lock collar.
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1) 17. Place bobeches (K) over candle covers (J). 18. Hang wooden drops (D,E,F) onto fixture body in proper position. 19. Thread finial (H) to fixture body and attach wooden drop (G).
20. Install (5) five candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL
or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture
specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE
RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE
MAXIMALE!).

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.

Notice: It is important to use proper chain pliers (not included) To OPEN and CLOSE the chain included with this fixture. Do not open them with other tools that may twist or stress the chain links. It is important to use proper chain pliers like the ones shown in the diagram.
