PXC4.E16 Automation Stations

DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16

Product Information

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16 is a compact
automation station designed for HVAC and building control systems.
It is freely programmable using a graphical programming interface
and features communication BACnet/IP (BTL certified), a 2-port
Ethernet switch for low-cost cabling, and 16 inputs/outputs. The 16
inputs/outputs consist of 12 universal inputs/outputs and 4 relay
outputs. The system can be extended via I/O modules TXM… and has
a KNX PL-Link bus to connect sensors and operator units (including
bus power). It integrates Modbus data points via RTU and/or TCP,
has a WLAN interface for engineering and commissioning, operates on
AC 24 V, and can be mounted on standard rails or on the wall. It
also features plug-in screw terminal blocks for easy
installation.

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16 is optimized for
flexible automation of HVAC and building control systems, offering
system functions such as alarming, scheduling, trending, access
protection with individually definable user profiles and
categories. It also integrates data points and/or subsystems via
Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP. The system is BTL tested for BACnet
communication on IP (BACnet/IP or BACnet/SC), in compliance with
the BACnet standard including B-BC profile (Rev. 1.15).
Additionally, it has BACnet Secure Connect communication as
BACnet/SC node, generic operation via embedded web interface, cloud
connectivity for remote access, and WLAN interface for engineering
and commissioning.

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16 features onboard
inputs/outputs that consist of relay outputs for binary controls,
changeover contact (NO, NC, pulse). It can be combined with I/O
modules TXM (Series D and later) such as digital input module,
universal module without/with local operation and LCD, super
universal module without/with local operation and LCD, relay module
without/with local operation, resistance measuring module (for
Pt100 4-wire), triac module, and digital input and relay
module.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16, first mount it
on standard rails or on the wall using plug-in screw terminal
blocks for easy installation. The system operates on AC 24 V. Once
installed, connect sensors and operator units to the KNX PL-Link
bus for easy integration.

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16 is freely programmable
using a graphical programming interface. Use this interface to
program the system for your specific HVAC and building control
needs. The system offers system functions such as alarming,
scheduling, trending, access protection with individually definable
user profiles and categories.

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC4.E16 integrates data points

FCC Statement This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
