PXC7 Automation Stations

DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC7

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC7 is a modular automation
station and system controller designed to automate building
automation and control systems. It is optimized for HVAC and
building automation and control systems with freely programmable
automation stations for maximum flexibility.

Functions

  • Comprehensive management and system functions
  • System functions including alarming, scheduling, trending,
    access protection with individually definable user profiles and
    categories
  • System controller for system networks with PXC3, PXC4, PXC5,
    PXC7 and DXR controllers over BACnet/IP, BACnet/SC, or BACnet
    MS/TP
  • Integrates data points and/or subsystems via Modbus RTU and/or
    Modbus TCP
  • Integrates MS/TP devices
  • Connects KNX PL-Link bus to connect sensors and operator units
    (including bus power)
  • BTL tested BACnet communication on IP (BACnet/IP or BACnet/SC)
    or BACnet MS/TP, in compliance with the BACnet standard including
    B-BC profile (Rev. 1.15)
  • BACnet Secure Connect communication as BACnet/SC hub and

TXM Input/Output Modules

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC7 can connect TXM
input/output modules. These modules include:

  • Digital input module with 8 or 16 I/O points
  • Universal module with/without local operation and LCD
  • Super universal module with/without local operation and
    LCD
  • Relay module with/without local operation
  • Resistance measuring module (for Pt100 4-core cable)
  • Triac module (only if PXC7.E400 is powered with AC)
  • Digital input and relay module

  • KNX PL-Link DPs do not count as integration points. For KNX
    PL-Link, only the limitation of BACnet objects have to be
    considered.
  • Depending on the behavior of the third-party MS/TP

Product Usage Instructions:

The DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC7 is a modular automation
station and system controller designed for HVAC and building
automation and control systems. Follow the below instructions for
product usage:

  1. Mount the DesigoTM Automation Stations PXC7 on DIN rail or
    screw mounting.
  2. Connect the TXM input/output modules as per requirement.
  3. Connect sensors and operator units using KNX PL-Link bus.
  4. Integrate Modbus RTU and/or Modbus TCP data points or
    subsystems as per requirement.
  5. Integrate BACnet MS/TP devices as per requirement.
  6. Connect system networks with PXC3, PXC4, PXC5, PXC7 and DXR
    controllers over BACnet/IP, BACnet/SC, or BACnet MS/TP.
  7. Use the embedded web interface for generic operation.
  8. Use cloud connectivity for remote access.
