The brush does not spin manually, and the brush will turn in the upright and reclined positions
- Unplug machine
- Take off both tanks, recline handle to floor, and roll machine over
- Remove the brush to check the belt
- Take out the 6 screws from the sole plate
- Lift off the belt cover (on the non-cord side)
- Slide the brush out
- Replace brush if needed
- Replace belt if needed
- The Overcurrent Protector may have been tripped
- Turn the machine off and wait at least 15 seconds
- The protector should reset, allowing cleaning to continue
