- The handle must be reclined for the brushes to turn
- The Lift-Off Pod must be securely attached in order for the brushes to turn
- The Lift-Off Pod is properly attached if the Heated Cleaning light is on
- Clean and inspect brushes for damage
- Unplug machine, remove Pod from base & lay base on its right side
- Rotate one brush by hand to verify that both brushes are turning together
- Check the brush belt connecting the brushes together
- If belt or brush are damaged they should be replaced
- Remove the 3 screws from the brush cover and remove
- Rotate the rear brush by hand
- If damaged it should be replaced
- Reassemble brush cover, insert screws and secure
- Reattach Lift-Off Pod to base (secure when Heated Cleaning light is on)
- Recline handle, to verify brushes are turning
- If brushes are still not turning, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
