- Detach hose from canister
- Push release tab and pull hose out
- Detach hose from extension wand by grasping each piece and pulling apart
- Do the same to detach the foot
- Press release button to take off dirt tank, then lift tank away from machine
- With all pieces detached, inspect dirt flow openings for clogs
- Insert broomstick through wand and hose to clean debris
- Inspect hose for damage or cracks
- If damaged, a replacement hose needs to be ordered
- Inspect hose for damage or cracks
- Reattach pieces by inserting into corresponding parts
- If still no suction, continue troubleshooting
- Check dirt tank
- With dirt tank still removed, over trash bin, press empty latch on back of tank to empty debris
- Snap bottom lid shut
- With dirt tank still removed, over trash bin, press empty latch on back of tank to empty debris
- Inspect pre-motor filter
- Separate top handle from bottom tank by grasping carry handle and base of dirt tank
- Twist the carry handle counterclockwise
- Separate top handle from bottom tank by grasping carry handle and base of dirt tank
- Grasp filter handle and lift out of dirt tank
- Rinse with warm water and allow filters to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Disassemble the cyclone assembly
- Remove cyclone from dirt tank
- Separate inner and outer cyclone by twisting counterclockwise while grasping base of outer cyclone
- Rinse inner and outer cyclone with warm water
- Allow all pieces to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- To reassemble, align tabs on filter piece with their mating slots on the inner cyclone and twist clockwise
- Do the same to connect inner and outer cyclone pieces
- To reassemble twist filter handle clockwise to lock
- Reinsert pieces into dirt tank
- Filter should sit level
- Filter will not sit level if tabs on front are not aligned
- Inspect the post-motor filter
- Open door on back of machine by pressing the release button
- Remove the post-motor filter
- Wash with warm water and mild detergent
- Allow filter to completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
- Reattach top lid to dirt tank by aligning clear notch with slot on top lid
- Clear notch should point toward unlocked
- Twist clockwise to lock
- Clear notch should point toward unlocked
- Reattach dirt tank to canister, plug machine in, and turn on
