My Revolution®/opticlean®/powerforce® Bagless Canister Vacuum Has No Suction | Support

  • Lift off the dirt cup and empty if needed
  • Snap dirt cup down into place with a click
  • Verify the air regulator on handle is set for high suction
    • Open = less suction
  • Ensure filters are clean and correctly installed
    • Lift off dirt up and unclip dirt cup lid, then pivot backwards
    • Pull filter upwards to remove
    • Take out the cyclone screen by gripping the two tabs
    • Twist counter-clockwise until you hear a click, then pull straight up
    • Cyclone filter screen, dirt cup filter and foam filter can be hand washed in cold water with mild detergent
    • Rinse well and completely air dry (24-48 hours) before reinstalling
    • Attach cyclone filter screen into dirt cup by placing back into position, lining up “close” with the tab below dirt cup lid hinge
    • Twist clockwise to lock
    • Place pre-motor filter on top with foam side facing down
    • Close dirt cup lid and replace dirt container
    • To check post-motor filter,
      • Take off filter door (located on back of machine) by pushing down on tab and pulling out
      • Post-motor filter can be hand washed in cold water with a mild detergent
      • Rinse well and completely air dry (24/48 hours) before reinstalling
      • Replace filter door by placing tabs on bottom of filter door into notches on bottom of post-motor filter compartment
      • Push tab forward (back into machine) to lock into place
  • Inspect entire hose for cracks or holes
    • If damaged, a replacement hose needs to be ordered
  • Disconnect hose and check for a clog in suction opening
  • Turn machine on and place hand over intake where hose attaches
    • If suction at intake and no debris blocking, hose is clogged
      • Work clog loose by massaging clogged area and/or gently twisting hose where clogged until it works itself free
      • Push broomstick through hose to clear clog if needed
  • Make sure hose is securely attached to suction opening
  • Plug machine in and try again
