My Powerclean®/powergroom®/powerglide® Has No/low Suction | Support

  • Empty dirt container by sliding the lever to the “unlock” position and pulling dirt container straight out from vacuum
  • Twist inner cyclone in upper tank to the left to remove
    • Inner cyclone can be washed using water and mild detergent
    • Allow to dry completely before reinserting in machine
  • Wipe out the inside of upper tank with a damp cloth and allow to completely dry
  • Remove the pre-motor filter from slide out tray under dirt container and hand wash in water with mild detergent
    • Allow to completely air dry (24-48 hrs.) before reinserting in machine
  • Remove the post-motor filter behind the door on side of vacuum
    • If filter becomes dirty, it will need to be replaced
  • Reassemble all parts of vacuum
  • Check for good suction at the end of the upholstery hose
    • If no suction, remove hose from back of machine by twisting to the left
    • Run broom stick through hose to remove any clogs
    • Hose will need to be replaced if cracked or damaged
  • Check back of machine for suction where hose connects
  • Remove the screw from the left side of the lower hose on back of the unit and straighten this section of hose by pulling it down
    • Push a broomstick through the lower hose to remove any clogs
    • The access plate can be removed to help clear the clog
  • Make sure the hose is firmly connected to the lower hose on back of vacuum
