- Turn off and unplug machine
- Slide the Lock ‘n Seal lever to “unlock” position to remove dirt tank and empty
- Grasp inner cyclone screen in upper tank and twist to the right to unlock
- Inner cyclone, screen, and tank may be wiped with damp cloth to clean
- Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling
- Slide out tray beneath dirt tank and remove foam pre-motor filter
- Pre-motor filter may be washed in cold water with mild detergent
- Allow to air dry completely before reinstalling
- Recline machine and push button on post-motor filter door located below pre-motor filter tray
- Post-motor filter is NOT washable and will need to be replaced if dirty
- Remove hose from back of machine by twisting hose collar to the left and pull hose wand out of base
- Run a broomstick through hose to clear any clogs
- If hose is cracked or damaged, it will need to be replaced
- Remove screw from left of lower hose to lay lower hose flat
- Run a broomstick through lower hose to clear any clogs
- If machine still has no suction, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- Run a broomstick through lower hose to clear any clogs
