How to Read a SoundTube Tap Switch
Product Information
The SoundTube Tap Switch is a feature available in various
series of SoundTube speakers, including RSi series, HPi series, CMi
series, SMi series, and XT series. This switch allows you to adjust
the impedance and tap settings of the speaker to match your audio
system requirements.
Product Usage Instructions
To read and set the SoundTube Tap Switch, follow these
steps:
- Identify the desired mode you want to set the speaker to – low
impedance/transformer-bypass mode, 70V mode, 100V mode, or 25V
mode. - If you want to set the speaker to the low
impedance/transformer-bypass mode, match up the symbol to both
arrows as shown in the example above. - If you want to set the speaker to the 70V mode, line up the
desired tap setting with the arrow next to the 70V symbol. - If you want to set the speaker to the 100V mode, line up the
desired tap setting with the arrow next to the 100V symbol. - If you want to set the speaker to the 25V mode, use the smaller
red text on the 70V side and line up the desired tap setting with
the arrow next to the 70V symbol.

performance according to your audio system requirements.
