Product Information

The Designer Radiator is a heating device designed to provide
warmth and style to any room. It comes with a 10-year guarantee and
is built to meet British and European Standards for installation
and safety. The radiator is made up of various components,
including wall plugs, screws, brackets, air vent, blank plug, front
bracket, and front cover.

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Prepare for Installation

  1. Gently remove the radiator from all packaging.
  2. Apply sufficient PTFE tape to valve-tail threads prior to
    installation.
  3. Apply silicone thread sealant to threaded components with
    O-rings.
  4. Screw the air vent and blank plug into the two holes on the top
    of the radiator.
  5. Ensure the selected wall is strong enough to hold the weight of
    the radiator filled with water.
  6. Note: Wall plugs and screws provided are intended for masonry
    walls. Use alternative fixings for different wall types if
    necessary.

Step 2: Mounting the Radiator

  1. Check for hidden pipes or wires in the wall before
    drilling.
  2. Using the radiator and a spirit level, mark the position of the
    brackets on the wall.
  3. Mark the centers of the brackets on the wall and drill four
    suitable holes.
  4. Insert wall plugs into the drilled holes.
  5. Screw the round external brackets into the wall plugs using the
    provided wall screws.
  6. Screw the round internal bracket to the front cover plate,
    connecting them through the radiator horizontal bar.
  7. Mount the radiator onto the wall by sliding the internal
    brackets on the radiator into the external brackets on the
    wall.
  8. Secure the radiator by tightening the grub screws into the
    holes on the side of the external brackets using the hexagonal
    key.
  9. Make necessary connections to the heating circuit.
  10. Remove any trapped air from the radiator using the air vent.
    Repeat if needed to ensure all air is removed.

Care & Maintenance

To keep your Designer Radiator looking new, regularly clean it
with a soft cloth. Use soapy water to remove stubborn stains and
then buff dry with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive or chemical
cleaners as they can damage the surface finish over time.

If any parts are damaged or missing, contact your point of
purchase for assistance. Replacement parts can be obtained through
your point of purchase.

Fixing Tips:
· A piece of insulating tape or a couple of layers of masking tape applied to the wall before drilling will help stop the drill from wandering, particularly on tiled surfaces.
· Exercise great care when using power tools near water. The use of a Residual Current Device (RCD) or Cordless Drill is recommended.
· Always double check the position and your measurements before drilling holes.
· When working near a basin or bath, insert the plug into the waste. This could help you avoid losing small parts.
Fitting the Radiator onto the wall.
1. Gently remove the radiator from all packaging. Sufficient PTFE tape must be applied to valve-tail threads prior to their installation. Silicone thread sealant should be applied to all threaded components manufactured with `O-rings’.
2. Screw the air vent and the blank plug into the two holes on the top of the radiator.
3. Ensure the selected wall is sufficiently strong enough to hold the weight of the towel warmer filled with water.

NOTE : Wall plugs and screws supplied are intended for masonry walls. Alternative fixings may be required dependent on wall type.
4. Before drilling, please make sure there are no hidden pipes or wires in the wall.
5. Using the radiator and a spirit level, mark the position of the brackets.
6. Mark the centres of the brackets on the wall. Drill four suitable holes and insert wall plugs.
7. Screw the round external brackets into the wall plugs using the wall screws.
8. Screw the round internal bracket to the front cover plate. These two parts connect through the radiator horizontal bar.
9. Mount the radiator onto the wall by sliding the internal brackets on the radiator into the external brackets on the wall. Secure the radiator into position by tightening the grub screws into the holes on the side of the external brackets using the hexagonal key.
Make the necessary connections to the heating circuit. Finally, remove any trapped air from the radiator using the air vent. This step may need to be repeated to ensure all air is removed.
Care & Maintenance
Regular cleaning with a soft cloth will keep the surface of your Designer Radiator looking new. Soapy water can be used to remove stubborn stains, then buff dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use abrasive or chemical cleaners to clean your radiator as these will damage the surface finish over time.
