7992-66 Four Light Outdoor Wall Mount in Sand Coal

Product Information: Model # 7992-66

The product is a wall-mounted light fixture that comes with a
mounting plate, mounting screws, ground screw, glass panels,
candelabra base bulbs, candle covers, and a cover. It requires an
outlet box to be installed (not included).

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, shut off the power at
    the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
  2. Remove the old fixture and its mounting hardware from the
    wall.
  3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all parts in a clear area.
    Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for
    installation.
  4. Remove screws and rubber washers and separate mounting plate
    from the back plate.
  5. Position the mounting plate on the wall and mark the location
    of four drywall anchors. Pre-drill holes for drywall anchors and
    insert them into the wall.
  6. Attach the mounting plate to the outlet box (not included) with
    outlet box screws. The side of the mounting plate marked GND must
    face out.
  7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in the provided diagram.
    Make sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet box
    has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
    Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the
    mounting plate using the provided green screw.
  8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the outlet box.
  9. Align the back plate onto the mounting plate and secure it with
    rubber washers and screws.
  10. Install glass panels into the holder of the fixture body and
    secure them with tabs on top and bottom.
  11. Install four candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts or CFL or LED
    equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture
    specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage rating.
  12. Place the cover onto the fixture body and secure it with
    screws.
  13. To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box and causing a
    short, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of the
    back plate where it meets the wall, leaving a space at the bottom
    to allow moisture a means to escape.
  14. Once the installation is complete, return power to the outlet
    box and test the fixture.

Note: It is recommended that the fixture be installed by a
qualified electrician to ensure proper wiring and installation.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) 1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box and
remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware. 2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the
parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any
small parts necessary for installation. 3. Remove screws (F) and rubber washers (E) and – separate mounting plate (C) from the back plate (G). 4. Position mounting plate (C) on wall and mark location of
four drywall anchors (O). Pre-drill holes for drywall anchors (O). Insert drywall anchors (O) into wall.
5. Attach mounting plate (C) to outlet box (A) (Not included) with outlet box screws (D). Note: The side of
mounting plate marked “GND” must face out. 6. Place woodscrews (N) through holes into drywall anchor
(O) to secure mounting plate (C) as shown in Fig.1.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) 7. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig.2. Making
sure that all wire connectors (B) are secured. If your outlet box (A) has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect fixture’s ground wire directly to mounting plate (C) using green screw provided. 8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into outlet box (A).
FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1) 9. Align back plate (G) onto mounting plate (C) and secure
with rubber washers (E) and screws (F). 10. Install glass panels (L) into holder of fixture body (H)
and secure with tabs (I) on top and bottom. 11. Install (4) four candelabra base bulbs (J) up to 60 watts
or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. –DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!) 12. Place cover (M) onto fixture body (H) and secure with screws (K). 13. To prevent moisture from entering outlet box (A) and causing a short, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of back plate (G) where it meets wall leaving a space at bottom to allow moisture a means to escape. (Fig .3)
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test fixture.
IMPORTANT: FIXTURE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN TO ENSURE PROPER WIRING AND INSTALLATION.
