Product Information
The product is a wall-mounted light fixture with model number
71260/1-66. The fixture is designed for wet location applications
and is ETL listed. The package includes a mounting plate, ground
screw, mounting screws, backplate, rubber gasket, cap nuts,
gaskets, cover, and medium base bulb (up to 60 Watts, or CFL or LED
equivalent not included).
Product Usage Instructions
- Before installation, shut off power at the fuse box or circuit
breaker box. - Remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear
area. - Screw the mounting screws into the mounting plate ensuring they
are spaced the same distance apart as the holes in the back
plate. - Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig 2 with connectors
making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your outlet
box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s
ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire
directly to the mounting plate using the green screw provided.
After the wires are connected, carefully tuck them inside the
outlet box. - Place the backplate over mounting screws, follow by rubber
gasket, then secure to wall using cap nuts. - To prevent moisture from entering the outlet box and causing a
short, use clear silicone sealant to outline the outside of fixture
back plate where it meets the wall leaving a space at bottom to
allow moisture a means to escape. - To replace the glass, remove gaskets and loosening the screws
to remove cover. Insert the new glass into the fixture frame from
the bottom. Secure the lower cover by screwing screws until tight
and reinstalling gaskets on the lower cover. - Install one medium base bulb up to 60 Watts, or CFL or LED
equivalent (not included), in accordance with the fixture
specification. DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING. - After installation is complete, turn on power and test the
fixture.
