Product Usage Instructions:
1. Contraindications: – The Arrow large-bore two-lumen catheter is
not suitable for long-term (30 days) hemodialysis. – It should not
be used in patients with thrombosed vessels. – The Arrowg+ard Blue
antimicrobial catheter should not be used in patients with known
hypersensitivity to chlorhexidine, silver sulfadiazine, and/or
sulfa drugs. 2. Priming: – Before using the catheter, prime it by
flushing with an appropriate volume of sterile saline solution. –
The priming volumes provided in the manual are approximate and do
not include any accessories. 3. Dialysis Flow Rate: – The provided
graph shows the pressure (mmHg) and flow rate (mL/min) for the
catheter during dialysis. – The venous side is represented on the
negative side of the graph, while the arterial side is represented
on the positive side. – Use the graph to monitor and adjust the
flow rate during dialysis. 4. In Vitro Testing: – The product has
undergone in vitro tests using a 3:1 ratio. Please consult a
healthcare professional or refer to the complete user manual for
detailed instructions on catheter insertion, removal, and
maintenance procedures.
