WARNING The tool shall be grounded while in use to prevent electric shock. The hydro pneumatic equipment shall be installed as close as possible to the main power source. Double check the power supply carries the same voltage than the voltage indicated in the motor nameplate. The power supply conductor gauge shall be a minimum 18 AWG. The equipment shall be set as close as possible to the power supply. In the event the distance is over 10 meters; a higher gauge conductor is recommended (minimum gauge 12 AWG).
CAUTION Connection to the power source shall be carried out by a professional electrician, according to figure 1 (see page 6, Power Connection). · The professional electrician connecting the equipment shall comply with the relevant mandatory rules. · The fixed installation shall include a device to assure Omni polar disconnection from the power source (thermomagnetic switch or fuse). · Make sure the power requirements described in these manual and in the equipment nameplate match with the power supply capacity values. · The hydro pneumatic equipment is built with a single-phase motor protected against overload It uses a thermal device (due to overload) set in the motor winding. Using power extension cables is not recommended for hydro pneumatic equipment. The use of an extension cable causes voltage drop, loss of power in the motor and overheating. · In the case the hydro pneumatic equipment is connected to a fuse protected circuit, use delay action fuses Type “D”.

General Power Tools Safety Warnings

WARNING! Read carefully all safety warnings and instructions listed below. Failure to comply with any of these warnings may result in electric shock, fire and / or severe damage. Save all warnings and instructions for future references.

Work area Keep your work area clean, and well lit. Cluttered and dark areas may cause accidents.
Never use the tool in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Sparks generated by power tools may ignite the flammable material.
Keep children and bystanders at a safe distance while operating the tool. Distractions may cause loosing control.
Electrical Safety The tool plug must match the power outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with grounded power tools. Modified plugs and different power outlets increase the risk of electric shock.
Avoid body contact with grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators, electric ranges and refrigerators. The risk of electric shock increases if your body is grounded.
Do not expose the tool to rain or wet conditions. Water entering into the tool increases the risk of electric shock.

Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables a better control on the tool during unexpected situations.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep hair, clothes and gloves away from the moving parts. Loose clothes or long hair may get caught in moving parts.
If you have dust extraction and recollection devices connected onto the tool, inspect their connections and use them correctly. Using these devices reduce dust-related risks.
Power Tools Use and Care Do not force the tool. Use the adequate tool for your application. The correct tool delivers a better and safer job at the rate for which it was designed.
Do not use the tool if the switch is not working properly. Any power tool that cannot be turned ON or OFF is dangerous and should be repaired before operating.
Disconnect the tool from the power source and / or battery before making any adjustments, changing accessories or storing. These measures reduce the risk of accidentally starting the tool.

Do not force the cord. Never use the cord to carry, lift or unplug the tool. Keep the cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

Store tools out of the reach of children. Do not allow persons that are not familiar with the tool or its instructions to operate the tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.

When operating a tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using an adequate outdoor extension cord reduces the risk of electric shock.
If operating the tool in a damp location cannot be avoided, use a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) protected supply. Using a GFCI reduces the risk of electric shock.
Personal safety Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of distraction while operating the tool may result in personal injury.
Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as safety glasses, anti-dust mask, non-skid shoes, hard hats and hearing protection used in the right conditions significantly reduce personal injury.

Service the tool. Check the mobile parts are not misaligned or stuck. There should not be broken parts or other conditions that may affect its operation. Repair any damage before using the tool. Most accidents are caused due to poor maintenance to the tools.

Keep the cutting accessories sharp and clean. Cutting accessories in good working conditions are less likely to bind and are easier to control.

Use the tool, components and accessories in accordance with these instructions and the projected way to use it for the type of tool when in adequate working conditions. Using the tool for applications different from those it was designed for, could result in a hazardous situation.

Repair the tool in a

This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Prevent unintentional starting up. Ensure the switch is in the “OFF” position before connecting into the power source and / or battery as well as when carrying the tool. Transporting power tools with the finger on the switch or connecting power tools with the switch in the “ON” position may cause accidents.
Remove any wrench or vice before turning the power tool on. Wrenches or vices left attached to rotating parts of the tool may result in personal injury.

Children or people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities shall not operate the tool, neither inexperienced people or without knowledge in the use of the tool, unless supervised by a person responsible of their safety or if receiving previous instructions about the tool operation. Children shall be kept under supervision to double-check they will not play with the tool. Tight supervision shall be used with children or disabled persons to prevent from using or being close to any household tool.

Safety Warnings for Hydropneumatic Equipment

Appropriate Use
· The equipment is a stationary device designed to pump clean neutral liquids that do not contain suspended abrasive solids with temperature not higher that 104 °F Any other type of use is inadequate. · The device is in compliance with the most current safety requirements, provided it is used for purposes originally designed for. The device shall only be used under the performance restrictions allowed. · It shall not be used to pump explosives, fuel or aggressive materials nor health damaging substances or sewer water. · The device is designed for household use. It is not adequate for commercial or industrial use. · Inadequate use or modifications to the device may result in unforeseen damage to the device and the operator, and releases the manufacturers of their legal responsibility.

CAUTION · Do not set up the equipment outdoors or close to wet areas.
WARNING · Do not install the device in areas where there is danger of explosion or in the vicinity of combustible liquids or gases.
WARNING · Do not direct the water jet against the device or other electric devices. There is danger of death due to electric shock.
CAUTION · Double check the power cable is not making contact with water circulating around the device. · Any type of repairs shall be carried out only in a
Authorized Service Center. Otherwise, the user is exposed to electric shock and makes the Warranty void. · Do not remove or cover the symbols attached to the device. All information about the devise that is no longer legible shall be replaced immediately. · Read and obey the operation instructions before installing and starting the equipment. Any malfunction caused by disregarding the instructions in this manual may damage the equipment and makes the Warranty void. · When the equipment is used into pools or ponds, the pump shall be connected through RCCB (Residual Current Circuit Breaker) designed with a current short circuit not higher than 30 mA

Installation

Mounting

· The set-up place for the equipment shall be dry and no exposed to weather with

enough air flowing to get adequate ventilation (A). The environment temperature

shall not exceed (104 °F).

· Use bolts to fix the equipment to a concrete base to prevent vibration (B). The

hydro pneumatic equipment shall be set horizontally to assure perfect functioning.

· The suction and pressure lines pipes shall be fastened to the wall or floor to prevent

voltage transmission to the hydro pneumatic equipment (C).

· Use care not to damage the hydro pneumatic equipment and / or pipes due to

excessive tightening of the joints.

· Use thread tape (Teflon) to seal all the joints. Leaks cause air entrance and hinder

the water outlet.

Suction Line (Input)
· The suction pipe diameter shall not be smaller than the water inlet of the hydro pneumatic equipment. If the suction height exceeds 4 meters, use a pipe with larger diameter. · The suction pipe shall be completely hermetic. One side shall be submerged into the water at least half-a -meter. There, install a foot-valve (D). The pipe elbows shall bend 90° towards the hydro pneumatic water connection. · The suction line shall be as short as possible because the suctioning capacity is lower on a par with the line increase. The suction line shall go up regularly to the equipment to prevent air pockets.
CAUTION If these indications are not followed, there will be air blocks and bubbles interfering with the hydro pneumatic performance. When water is suctioned from a water storage tank set higher than the equipment, the purge is automatic (the purge operation requires a couple of minutes).

Pressure Line (Outlet)
· The outlet pipe shall have a gate valve (E) to set flow and pressure speeds required. · Set two check valves (F). One, between the pressurized water and the gate valve. The other, between the water storage tank or cistern and the water inlet.

Pressure Switch

· The hydro pneumatic machine is equipped with a pressure switch (pressurestat) that turns on the motor when the tank pressure is equal or lower than the starting pressure. · The pressurestat turns off the motor when the pressure inside the tank increases up to the stopping pressure.
CAUTION The pressurestat is calibrated in the factory to correct the starting and closing pressure.

Preliminary Increase of the Filling Up Pressure

· If in the long term the equipment starts running after a
slightly emptying water (approximately 0.13 gal), the
preliminary increase of the filling up pressure in the tank
shall be reestablished: 1. Disconnect the feed. 2. Open the pressure line (open the male or nozzle) let the water flow out completely. 3. Unscrew and remove the drain cap to empty the tank. The air control valve is in the rear of the tank in the
horizontal tank equipment and in the upper side in
vertical tank equipment. 4. Connect the compressors’ airline to the air control valve with a “pressure valve” and a pressure gauge. 5. Get to the filling up preliminary pressure: 0.19 MPa – 0.20 MPa (28 PSI – 30 PSI). 6. Connect the equipment again and check its functioning.

· To avoid issues, check regularly the pre-loading pressure in the tank. At this point, disconnect the equipment to the feeding source and open the feed key to eliminate the pressure from the system. Then, remove the cap (A) in the rear of the tank and measure the pre – charge pressure in the valve (B). Measure with an independent pressure gauge.
CAUTION · Only authorized staff shall open and install the pressurestat. Disconnect the equipment from the power source before opening the pressurestat.

Start Up
Purge
· The first time you start the hydro pneumatic equipment, or after a long period of inactivity, or when air enters into the system, fill the pump with clean water before starting up. · Remove the purge cap (C) and fill with water up to the C orifice level. · Screw the cap and start the hydro pneumatic equipment.
WARNING Never start up the hydro pneumatic equipment when the pump is empty. If occurs accidentally, turn off the hydro pneumatic equipment immediately. Let it cool down and then, fill the pump with clean water.

Maintenance
· The hydro pneumatic equipment does not require maintenance only if taking the following caution measures: · When there is risk of freezing empty the pump completely removing the drain cap (B). Remember to purge the pump before starting it back. · Check periodically the foot valve (not included) and clean if necessary. · When the hydro pneumatic equipment will be used long periods of time, we recommend emptying the pump fully and rinse with clean water.

Troubleshooting

Problem
The motor does not start .

Cause
· There is no power. · The impeller is stuck.

Solution
· Check connections and voltage values. · Remove the fan cover and turn the shaft to release it.

The motor turns but is · The foot valve filter is clogged. not pumping water. · Excessive suction height.
· Air in the inlet.

· Clean the filter. · Shorten the suction pipe length. · Check the suction pipe is hermetic. Assure the foot-valve is submerged at least 20″. Purge again the pump (see page 8). Check the suction height.

Not enough pressure. · Suction height is in the limit.

· Shorten the suction pipe length.

· Foot valve filter partially clogged. · Clean the foot valve and the full suction pipe if necessary.

Mantenimiento
· El equipo hidroneumático no requiere de mantenimiento siempre y cuando se tomen las siguientes precauciones: · Cuando exista riesgo de congelación vacíe la bomba por completo retirando el tapón de drenado (B). Recuerde purgar la bomba antes de ponerla en marcha de nuevo. · Revise periódicamente la válvula de pie (no incluida) y límpiela si es necesario. · Si el equipo hidroneumático permanecerá inactivo por un largo periodo es recomendable vaciar la bomba por completo y enjuagarla con agua limpia.

Solución de problemas

Problema
El motor no arranca.

Causa
· No hay energía. · Impulsor atorado.

Solución
· Revise las conexiones y los valores de tensión. · Retire la cubierta del ventilador y gire la flecha para liberarlo.

El motor gira sin bombear agua.

· Filtro de la válvula de pie tapado. · Altura excesiva de succión. · Aire en la admisión.

· Limpie el filtro. · Disminuya la longitud del tubo de succión. · Revise que el tubo de succión sea hermético. Asegúrese de que la válvula de pie (pichancha) esté sumergida al menos 50 cm Es necesario purgar la bomba de nuevo (consulte la página 8). Revise la altura de la succión.

Presión insuficiente.

· Altura de la succión en el límite. · Filtro de la válvula de pie parcialmente tapado.

· Disminuya la longitud del tubo de succión. · Limpie la válvula de pie (pichancha) y todo el tubo de succión de ser necesario.

Se accionó el protector · Motor sobrecalentado. térmico de sobrecarga · Impulsor atorado. del motor.

· Revise la tensión y la ventilación. · Remueva la cubierta del abanico y gire el eje del motor para liberarlo.

Interruptor de presión

· El hidroneumático viene equipado con un interruptor de presión (presostato) el cual enciende el motor cuando la presión del tanque es igual o menor a la presión de encendido. · El interruptor de presión (presostato) apaga el motor cuando la presión en el tanque aumenta hasta la presión de paro.
ATENCIÓN El interruptor de presión está calibrado de fábrica para corregir la presión de inicio y de cierre.

Aumento de presión preliminar de llenado

· En caso que con el paso del tiempo el equipo se
enciende después de un ligero vaciado de agua
(aproximadamente 0.5 L), se debe restablecer la presión
preliminar de llenado en el tanque del equipo: 1. Desconecte la alimentación. 2. Abra la línea de presión (abra el macho o boquilla), permita que salga el agua por completo. 3. Desatornille y retire el tapón de drenado para vaciar el tanque, la válvula de control de aire se encuentra en la
parte trasera del tanque en los equipos de tanque
horizontal y en la parte superior en los equipos de tanque
vertical. 4. Conecte una línea de aire comprimido (compresor) a la válvula de control de aire, con una conexión de una
“válvula de presión” y un calibrador de presión. 5. Infle a la presión preliminar de llenado (presión preliminar de llenado:
0.19 MPa – 0.20 MPa (28 PSI-30 PSI). 6. Vuelva a conectar el equipo y revise su funcionamiento.

· Para evitar problemas, se recomienda revisar regularmente la presión de precarga en el tanque. En este punto, desconecte el equipo de la fuente de alimentación y abra la llave de alimentación para eliminar la presión del sistema. Después, retire la tapa (A) de la parte trasera del tanque y mida la presión de precarga en la válvula (B). Realice la medición con un calibrador de presión independiente.
ATENCIÓN · Solamente personal calificado debe abrir e instalar el interruptor de presión. Desconecte el equipo de la corriente eléctrica antes de abrir el interruptor de presión.

Puesta en marcha

Purga

· La primera vez que ponga en marcha el equipo

hidroneumático o después de un largo periodo de inactividad o cuando haya entrado aire al sistema debe de

llenar la bomba con agua limpia antes de encenderla.

· Retire el tapón de purga (C) y llene de agua hasta que

llegue al nivel del orificio.

· Atornille el tapón y encienda el equipo hidroneumático.

ADVERTENCIA Nunca ponga en marcha el equipo

hidroneumático cuando la bomba esté vacía. Si ocurre

esto accidentalmente, apague el equipo hidroneumático

de inmediato, espere a que se enfríe y luego llene la

bomba usando agua limpia.

Instalación
Montaje
· El equipo debe instalarse en un lugar seco, al resguardo de la intemperie, que permita el flujo de aire para su adecuada ventilación (A). Con una temperatura ambiente que no exceda los 40 °C (104 °F). · Utilice pernos para fijar el equipo a una base de concreto para evitar cualquier vibración (B). El equipo hidroneumático debe instalarse en posición horizontal para asegurar su buen funcionamiento. · Los tubos de las líneas de succión y presión deben de contar con soportes a la C pared o piso para evitar la transmisión de tensión al equipo hidroneumático (C). · Tenga cuidado de no dañar el equipo hidroneumático y/o la tubería debido a un apriete excesivo de las uniones. · Selle todas las conexiones con cinta selladora para roscas (de teflón). Las fugas ocasionan entrada de aire y entorpecen la salida de agua.
Línea de succión (entrada)
· El diámetro del tubo de succión no debe ser menor al diámetro de la toma de agua del equipo hidroneumático. Si la altura de la succión excede de 4 m, use un tubo con un diámetro más grande. · El tubo de succión debe de ser completamente hermético, su extremo debe de estar sumergido en el agua por lo menos medio metro, en donde se recomienda instalar una válvula de pie (D). Los codos de la tubería deben doblar a 90° hacia la toma de agua del equipo hidroneumático. · La línea de succión debe ser tan corta como sea posible, pues la capacidad de succión baja a la par con el aumento de la línea. La línea de succión debe ascender regularmente hacia el equipo para prevenir bolsas de aire.
ATENCIÓN De no seguir éstas indicaciones se formarán cierres de aire y burbujas que interferirán con el buen desempeño del equipo hidroneumático. Cuando la succión de agua se hace desde un tinaco a mayor altura del equipo la purga es automática (la operación de purgado requiere de unos minutos).
Línea de presión (salida)
· Al tubo de salida debe de adaptarse una válvula de compuerta (E) para ajustar la velocidad de flujo y presión requeridas. · Se deben colocar dos válvulas sin retorno o check (F), una entre la salida de agua a presión y la válvula de compuerta y otra entre el tinaco o cisterna y la entrada de agua.

Advertencias de Seguridad para uso de equipo hidroneumático

Usos adecuados
· El equipo es un dispositivo estacionario diseñado para bombear líquidos neutros limpios, que no tengan sólidos abrasivos en suspensión, a temperaturas no superiores a 40 °C Cualquier otro tipo de uso es inadecuado. · El dispositivo cumple con los requerimientos más actuales en seguridad siempre y cuando se le de el uso para el que fue diseñado. El dispositivo solamente puede ser utilizado bajo las restricciones de desempeño permitidas. · No se debe utilizar para bombear explosivos, combustibles o materiales agresivos ni substancias dañinas a la salud o aguas negras. · El dispositivo está diseñado para uso residencial, no es adecuado para uso comercial ni industrial. · El uso inadecuado o las modificaciones al dispositivo, el uso de componentes que no han sido probados y aprobados por el fabricante, pueden tener como resultado daños imprevistos al dispositivo y al operador, y libera al fabricante de su responsabilidad legal.

ATENCIÓN · No instale el dispositivo a la

intemperie ni cerca de áreas mojadas.

ADVERTENCIA · No instale el dispositivo en áreas

donde exista el peligro de explosión o cerca de líquidos

combustibles o gases.

ADVERTENCIA · No dirija el chorro de agua contra

el dispositivo u otros componentes eléctricos. Existe

peligro de muerte debido a una descarga eléctrica.

ATENCIÓN · Asegúrese de que el cable de

alimentación no haga contacto con el agua que circula

cerca del dispositivo.

· Cualquier reparación debe hacerse únicamente por un

. De lo

contrario se expone a un choque eléctrico e invalida la

garantía.

· Los símbolos adheridos al dispositivo no deben retirarse

ni cubrirse. Toda información sobre el dispositivo que ya

no sea legible, debe ser reemplazada de inmediato.

· Lea y obedezca las instrucciones de operación antes de

instalar y poner en marcha el equipo. Cualquier

desperfecto ocasionado por la omisión de las indicaciones

de éste instructivo puede dañar el equipo e invalidar la

garantía.

· Cuando el equipo se opera en albercas o estanques la

bomba debe estar conectada por medio de un interruptor

de corriente residual (RCCB) con diseño de corriente de

cortocircuito no mayor a 30 mA

Advertencias generales de seguridad para herramientas eléctricas

¡ADVERTENCIA! Lea detenidamente todas las advertencias de seguridad y todas las instrucciones que se enlistan a continuación. La omisión de alguna de ellas puede dar como resultado un choque eléctrico, incendio y/o daño serio. Conserve las advertencias y las instrucciones para futuras referencias.

Área de trabajo Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien iluminada. Las áreas desordenadas y obscuras son propensas a accidentes.

No sobrepase su campo de acción. Mantenga ambos pies bien asentados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en todo momento.

No maneje la herramienta en ambientes explosivos, como en presencia de líquido, gas o polvo inflamables. Las herramientas eléctricas producen chispas que pueden encender material inflamable.
Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos cuando opere la herramienta. Las distracciones pueden hacer que pierda el control.
Seguridad eléctrica La clavija de la herramienta debe coincidir con el tomacorriente. Nunca modifique una clavija. No use ningún tipo de adaptador para clavijas de herramientas puestas a tierra. Clavijas modificadas y enchufes diferentes aumentan el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies puestas a tierra como tuberías, radiadores, cocinas eléctricas y refrigeradores. Hay un mayor riesgo de choque eléctrico si el cuerpo está puesto a tierra.
No exponga la herramienta a la lluvia o condiciones de humedad. El agua que ingresa en la herramienta aumenta el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
No fuerce el cable. Nunca use el cable para transportar, levantar o desconectar la herramienta. Mantenga el cable lejos del calor, aceite, orillas afiladas o piezas en movimiento. Los cables dañados o enredados aumentan el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta en exteriores, use una extensión especial para uso en exteriores. El uso de una extensión adecuada para exteriores reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Si el uso de la herramienta en un lugar húmedo es inevitable, use una alimentación protegida por un interruptor de circuito de falla a tierra (GFCI). El uso de un GFCI reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.

Esto permite un mejor control de la herramienta en situaciones inesperadas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o joyas. Mantenga su pelo, su ropa y guantes alejados de las piezas en movimiento. La ropa o el pelo sueltos o las joyas pueden quedar atrapados en las piezas en movimiento.
En caso de contar con dispositivos de extracción y recolección de polvo conectados a la herramienta, verifique sus conexiones y úselos correctamente. El uso de estos dispositivos reduce los riesgos relacionados con el polvo.
Uso y cuidados de la herramienta No fuerce la herramienta. Use la herramienta adecuada para el trabajo a realizar. La herramienta adecuada hace un trabajo mejor y más seguro cuando se usa al ritmo para el que fue diseñado.
No use la herramienta si el interruptor no funciona. Cualquier herramienta eléctrica que no pueda encenderse o apagarse es peligrosa y debe repararse antes de ser operada.
Desconecte la herramienta de la fuente de alimentación y/o de la batería antes de efectuar cualquier ajuste, cambiar accesorios o almacenarla. Estas medidas reducen el riesgo de arrancar la herramienta accidentalmente.
Almacene las herramientas fuera del alcance de los niños y no permita su manejo por personas no familiarizadas con las herramientas o con las instrucciones. Las herramientas eléctricas son peligrosas en manos no entrenadas.
Déle mantenimiento a la herramienta. Compruebe que las partes móviles no estén desalineadas o trabadas, que no haya piezas rotas u otras condiciones que puedan afectar su operación. Repare cualquier daño antes de usar la herramienta. Muchos accidentes son causados por el escaso mantenimiento de las herramientas.

Seguridad personal Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el sentido común cuando maneje una herramienta. No la use si está cansado o bajo la influencia de drogas, alcohol o medicamentos. Un momento de distracción mientras maneja la herramienta puede causar un daño personal.
Use equipo de seguridad. Use siempre protección para los ojos. El uso de equipo de seguridad como lentes de seguridad, mascarilla antipolvo, zapatos antideslizantes, casco y protección para los oídos en condiciones apropiadas, reduce de manera significativa los daños personales.
Evite arranques accidentales. Asegúrese de que el interruptor está en posición “apagado” antes de conectar a la fuente de alimentación y/o a la batería o transportar la herramienta. Transportar herramientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el interruptor o conectar herramientas eléctricas que tienen el interruptor en posición de “encendido” puede causar accidentes.
Retire cualquier llave o herramienta de ajuste antes de arrancar la herramienta eléctrica. Las llaves o herramientas que quedan en las partes rotativas de la herramienta pueden causar un daño personal.

Mantenga los accesorios de corte afilados y limpios. Los accesorios de corte en buenas condiciones son menos probables de trabarse y más fáciles de controlar.
Use la herramienta, sus componentes y accesorios de acuerdo con estas instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el tipo de herramienta, en condiciones de trabajo adecuadas. El uso de la herramienta para aplicaciones diferentes para las que está diseñada podría causar una situación de peligro.
Servicio Repare la herramienta en un Centro de Servicio Autorizado
usando sólo piezas de repuesto idénticas. Para mantener la seguridad de la herramienta.
La máquina no debe de ser utilizada por niños ni por personas con capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales reducidas; tampoco por personas sin experiencia o conocimientos en su uso, a menos que estén supervisadas por una persona responsable de su seguridad o reciban instrucciones previas sobre el uso de la máquina. Los niños deben de estar bajo supervisión para asegurarse de que no jueguen con la máquina. Se debe de mantener una estricta supervisión si niños o personas discapacitadas llegan a utilizar cualquier tipo de aparato electrodoméstico o estén cerca de él.

ADVERTENCIA La herramienta debe ser conectada a tierra mientras esté en uso para evitar una descarga eléctrica. El equipo hidroneumático debe instalarse tan cerca como sea posible del suministro de energía principal. Revise que el suministro tenga la misma tensión que la indicada en la placa de datos del motor. Los conductores de alimentación deben tener como mínimo un calibre de 18 AWG. El equipo debe instalarse tan cerca como sea posible del suministro de energía. En caso de que la distancia sea mayor de 10 metros se debe utilizar un conductor de mayor calibre (se recomienda como mínimo calibre 12 AWG).

ATENCIÓN La conexión a la fuente de energía debe realizarse por un

profesional en electricidad, de acuerdo a la Fig. 1 (ver pagina 6, conexión eléctrica).

· El profesional en electricidad que conecte el equipo, debe cumplir con los reglamentos obligatorios correspondientes.

· El equipo hidroneumático tiene un motor monofásico, protegido contra sobrecargas usando un dispositivo térmico (protector térmico de

sobrecarga) colocado en el devanado.

No se recomienda el uso de extensiones eléctricas para equipos hidroneumáticos. Su uso provoca caída de tensión, pérdida de potencia en

el motor y sobrecalentamiento.

· En caso de conectar el equipo hidroneumático a un circuito protegido con fusibles, use fusibles de acción retardada Tipo “D”.

ADVERTENCIA Todo el cableado, las conexiones eléctricas y la conexión a tierra del sistema deben cumplir con la NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA NOM-001-SEDE, INSTALACIONES ELÉCTRICAS (UTILIZACIÓN) o con los códigos y ordenanzas locales. Debe emplear un electricista calificado.
