Product Information

The product is a multistage pressurized pump with four different
models (102384, 102385, 102386, and 102387). The models are named
PREM-1/2, PREM-3/4, PREM-1, and PREM-1-1/3, respectively. The user
manual provides information on voltage, frequency, current, flow
rate, maximum head, and pressure for each model. The product comes
with safety instructions, usage guidelines, maintenance
instructions, and information on authorized service centers.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the pump, read the user manual thoroughly and keep
it for future reference.
When connecting the pump to the system, use the appropriate
cable for the motor current.
The pump is activated when there is a constant water supply and
an open faucet.
For purging the pump, follow the instructions provided in Fig.
B.
For maintenance, refer to the maintenance instructions provided
in the user manual.

Using Extensions: The pump can be used with
extensions up to 15 meters long. When using extensions, ensure that
they have a ground conductor and the conductor size is adequate for
the amperage capacity. Refer to Fig. A for conductor sizes.

Starting Up: Follow the instructions provided
in Fig. C for making connections.

ATENCIÓN Si el cable de alimentación se daña, éste debe ser reemplazado por el fabricante o Centro de Servicio Autorizado Truper®, con el fin de evitar algún riesgo de descarga o accidente considerable. El tipo de sujeta-cables empleado para esta bomba es tipo “Y”. La construcción de esta bomba está diseñada de manera que su aislamiento eléctrico es alterado por salpicaduras o derramamiento de líquidos durante su operación.

ADVERTENCIA Antes de obtener acceso a las terminales, todos los circuitos de alimentación deben ser desconectados.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
1. Mantenga el área de trabajo en orden. Las áreas y bancos desordenados propician accidentes. 2. Mantenga el área de trabajo bien iluminada. No utilice herramientas eléctricas en presencia de gases o líquidos inflamables. 3. Prevéngase contra los choques eléctricos. Prevenga el contacto del cuerpo con superficies conectadas a tierra tales como tuberías, radiadores y refrigeradores.
4. Mantenga a los niños alejados. Los niños nunca deben estar cerca del área de trabajo. No permita que ellos sostengan máquinas, herramientas o cables de extensión. No permita que otras personas toquen la bomba, manténgalas alejadas de su campo de trabajo.
5. Mantenga guardada la bomba mientras no esté en uso. Cuando no esté en uso, la bomba debe guardarse en un lugar seco y libre de polvo. Siempre guarde su herramienta bajo llave para que no esté al alcance de los niños.
6. No fuerce la herramienta. Esta hará mejor su trabajo y será más segura dentro del rango para la cual fue diseñada. No utilice aditamentos inapropiados para intentar exceder la capacidad de la bomba.
7. Utilice la herramienta eléctrica adecuada. No utilice herramientas demasiado débiles para ejecutar trabajos pesados. No utilice herramientas eléctricas para trabajos pesados para los cuales no ha sido diseñada.
8. Utilice la indumentaria apropiada. No utilice ropa suelta, guantes, corbatas o joyería que pueda ser atrapada en las partes móviles. No utilice calzado resbaloso. Utilice algún protector de cabello para retener el cabello largo. 9. Siempre utilice accesorios de seguridad apropiados por la Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM).
10. No use el cable de alimentación para fines para los cuales no está dispuesto. No lleve la bomba colgada del cable y no tire de éste para desconectar la clavija de la base de enchufe. Proteja el cable contra el calor, el aceite y las esquinas afiladas.
11. Mantenga el balance adecuado todo el tiempo sobre sus pies. No trate de alcanzar algo sobre la máquina o se cruce cuando esté en funcionamiento.
12. No extienda su radio de acción. Evite toda postura que cause cansancio. Cuide que su posición sea segura y de que conserve el equilibrio.
13. Mantenga las herramientas en las mejores condiciones. Mantenga las herramientas limpias para tener la mejor ejecución y seguridad. Siga las instrucciones para la lubricación y cambio de accesorios. Verifique los cables de la bomba periódicamente y si se encuentran dañados, llévelos a reparar a un Centro de Servicio Autorizado Truper®. Los mangos o manijas deben siempre permanecer limpios y libres de aceite y grasas.
14. Desconecte la bomba cuando no esté en uso, antes de proceder al mantenimiento. 15. Reduzca el riesgo de arranques accidentales. No lleve ninguna bomba con el dedo puesto sobre el interruptor mientras esté conectado a la red eléctrica.

Asegúrese de que el interruptor esté en la posición “apagado” (OFF) antes de conectar el cable de alimentación.
16. Extensiones para exterior. En el exterior, utilice solamente cables de extensión homologados y convenientemente marcados.
17. Manténgase alerta. Fíjese en lo que está haciendo, utilice su sentido común. No opere ninguna herramienta cuando esté cansado.
18. Revise las partes dañadas. Antes de continuar utilizando la máquina, los protectores u otras partes móviles que pudieran estar dañadas deben ser cuidadosamente revisadas, para asegurarse que operan apropiadamente y trabajarán como debe ser. Revise también la alineación de las partes móviles, si están atascadas, o si hay alguna probable ruptura de las partes, revise también el montaje, así como cualquier otra condición que pueda afectar la operación de la bomba. Todos los componentes deben estar montados adecuadamente y cumplir los requisitos para garantizar el correcto funcionamiento de la bomba. Un protector u otra parte que estén dañadas deberán ser apropiadamente reparadas o cambiadas. Todo interruptor de mando deteriorado, deberá ser reemplazado por un Centro de Servicio Autorizado Truper®. No utilice ninguna herramienta eléctrica en la cual el interruptor no tenga contacto.
19. Reemplazo de partes y accesorios. Cuando necesite remplazar las piezas, utilice solamente refacciones originales Truper®, destinados para usarse con está bomba. 20. ATENCIÓN Para su seguridad personal utilice únicamente los accesorios o aparatos adicionales indicados en las instrucciones de manejo o recomendados por el fabricante de la bomba. La utilización de accesorios diferentes a los indicados en las instrucciones de manejo, puede acarrear riesgo personal. 21. Protección para oídos. Utilice protectores auriculares, cuando ejecute servicios que hagan ruidos superiores a 85 dB
La bomba no está prevista para su utilización por personas (incluidos los niños) cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o mentales son reducidas, o por personas sin experiencia o conocimientos, salvo si éstas se encuentran vigiladas por una persona responsable de su seguridad o han recibido instrucciones previas sobre el uso de la bomba.
ATENCIÓN Los niños deberán estar bajo supervisión para cerciorarse de que no jueguen con la bomba.
Se requiere estricta supervisión cuando las personas discapacitadas o los niños utilicen cualquier aparato eléctrico o estén cerca de él. La forma de bomba está diseñada para bombear a una presión constante agua limpia para suministrar agua a casas habitación desde tinacos y cisternas; para suministrar agua a baños, máquinas limpiadoras, lavadoras de trastes y regar jardines: para rociar o

regar agua, como fuente, como bomba de agua de lluvia y agua industrial. También puede ser usado en sistemas de presurización para incrementar la presión isostática. No se debe utilizar para bombear agua potable o para regar comestibles. Ni se debe bombear agua de mar, aguas residuales, aguas de pozo ni líquidos inflamables, corrosivos, explosivos o peligrosos, combustibles o materiales agresivos ni substancias dañinas a la salud o materia fecal. La bomba solamente puede ser utilizada bajo las restricciones de desempeño permitidas. La bomba no es adecuada para uso comercial o industrial. Está diseñado para uso doméstico. Cualquier otro tipo de uso es inadecuado. El uso inadecuado o las modificaciones a la bomba; y el uso de componentes que no han sido probados y aprobados por el fabricante pueden tener como resultado daños imprevistos. Cualquier uso que se desvíe del uso intencionado y que no esté incluido en el instructivo se considerará como no autorizado y libera al fabricante de su responsabilidad legal. Observe todas las instrucciones de seguridad. No hacerlo puede ocasionar daños al usuario y a otras personas. Las reparaciones solamente se deben hacer en nuestro Centro de Servicio Autorizado Truper®. No use esta bomba en áreas donde existan explosivos o cerca de líquidos inflamables o gases. No someta la bomba a la lluvia. No utilice la bomba alrededor de áreas mojadas. Debe asegurarse que si la bomba está en la posición apagado (Off) no pueda arrancar de manera no intencional. No utilice bombas cuyo interruptor de corriente no funcionan correctamente.
SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
La bomba se debe conectar solamente en un tomacorriente correctamente instalado y aterrizado. El fusible debe ser un interruptor de corriente residual con una corriente residual no mayor a 30 mA Antes de conectar la bomba debe verificar que el suministro eléctrico corresponda a las especificaciones de la bomba para conexión. La bomba solo puede ser utilizada dentro de los límites de tensión y electricidad especificados (ver la placa de información en la bomba). No levante la bomba usando el cable ni use el cable para propósitos diferentes a los que se indica. Antes de cada uso verifique el cable. En caso que el cable esté dañado, desconecte la clavija de inmediato. Nunca use la bomba si el cable eléctrico está dañado.
ADVERTENCIA La herramienta debe ser conectada a tierra mientras esté en uso para evitar una descarga eléctrica. · Enchufe la clavija dentro de un contacto o enchufe apropiadamente aterrizado como se muestra en el ejemplo A. No todos los contactos o enchufes están propiamente aterrizados, si no está seguro verifique con un eléctrico calificado. · Si el contacto que planea usar para su herramienta es de 2 polos (2 orificios), NO REMUEVA O ALTERE EL CONDUCTOR DE TIERRA DE SU CLAVIJA POR NINGÚN MOTIVO. Utilice un adaptador temporal como se muestra en el ejemplo B y siempre conecte la oreja del conductor de tierra como se indica.
ATENCIÓN Al usar un cable de extensión, asegúrese de usar el calibre suficiente para transportar la corriente que consumirá su herramienta. Un cable de un calibre inferior ocasionará caídas de tensión en la línea, teniendo como resultado pérdida de potencia y sobrecalentamiento del motor. La siguiente tabla muestra el tamaño correcto que debe usarse dependiendo de la longitud del cable y de la capacidad de amperes indicada en la placa de datos de la herramienta. Si tiene dudas use el siguiente calibre más alto.

CONEXIÓN AL SUMINISTRO DE ENERGÍA
DESCONECTE EL SUMINISTRO ELÉCTRICO CUANDO HAGA LAS CONEXIONES. UNA MALA CONEXIÓN AL SISTEMA Y A TIERRA PUEDE OCASIONAR UNA DESCARGA ELÉCTRICA.
1) Para la instalación correcta de la bomba, revise la tensión y el consumo de corriente indicados en la placa de información del motor. Haga la conexión como indica la placa.
2) Antes de instalar el suministro eléctrico a la bomba multietapa, confirme que sabe cual es el procedimiento adecuado para manejar el tipo de corriente. Si usted no tiene el entrenamiento para este tipo de instalación, consulte a un electricista calificado.
3) Al conectar al sistema, recuerde utilizar el cable adecuado para la corriente del motor.
4) Seleccione el cable correcto, dependiendo de la distancia que hay desde la salida y la corriente (el consumo de corriente del motor). NOTA: Las especificaciones y conexiones para cada motor varía con cada modelo. Revise la placa de información para instalar el motor.
5) Instale un interruptor (de preferencia termo-magnético o un fusible) con la capacidad de acuerdo a las necesidades del motor (corriente).
6) Antes de realizar la conexión revise que la tensión eléctrica provista sea la correcta para el buen funcionamiento de la bomba. Para prevenir caídas de tensión revise que el calibre del conductor sea el adecuado. Cuando la distancia de operación sea muy grande (más de 20 metros) se debe aumentar la medida del cable. La tensión no debe ser mayor que y/o menor que 5% de lo indicado en la placa de especificaciones del motor de la bomba.
7) Cuando se termine todas las conexiones, antes de conectar el suministro eléctrico, confirme que el interruptor esté abierto y que todos los cables estén debidamente aislados y protegidos.
La bomba debe instalarse tan cerca como sea posible del suministro de energía principal. Revise que el suministro tenga la misma tensión que la indicada en la placa de datos del motor.

ADVERTENCIA Todo el cableado, las conexiones eléctricas y la conexión a tierra del sistema deben cumplir con la NORMA OFICIAL MEXICANA NOM-001-SEDE, INSTALACIONES ELÉCTRICAS (UTILIZACIÓN) o con los códigos y ordenanzas locales. Deben emplear un electricista calificado.

USO DE EXTENSIONES

Al usar un cable de extensión, asegúrese de usar el calibre suficiente para transportar la corriente que consumirá su bomba. Un cable de un calibre inferior ocasionará caídas de tensión en la línea, teniendo como resultado pérdida de potencia y sobrecalentamiento del motor. La siguiente tabla muestra el tamaño correcto que debe usarse dependiendo de la longitud del cable y de la capacidad de amperes indicada en la placa de datos de la bomba. Si tiene dudas use el siguiente calibre más alto. Recuerde que mientras más pequeño sea el número del calibre, más pesado será el cable. Asegúrese de que el cable de extensión esté en buen estado y que cuente con un conductor de puesta a tierra.

INSTALACIÓN
Las bombas deben instalarse en un lugar seco, con ventilación adecuada, con una temperatura ambiente que no exceda de 40 °C (104 °F).
Coloque la bomba en su lugar en una superficie plana sólida usando los pernos adecuados para evitar vibración. La bomba debe instalarse en posición horizontal para asegurar que los cojinetes funcionen correctamente. El diámetro del tubo de succión no debe ser menor al diámetro de la boca de succión. Si la altura de la succión excede de 4 metros, use un tubo con un diámetro grande.
Fije el control automático a la salida de la bomba utilizando la tuerca unión (B). Verifique que la flecha en la salida de agua del control apunte en dirección de la línea de salida.
El diámetro del tubo de salida debe elegirse de manera que pueda adaptarse a la velocidad de flujo y presión requeridas en los puntos de las tomas de fuerza. El tubo de succión debe estar en ángulo hacia arriba, hacia la boca de succión para evitar la formación de cierres de aire (Fig. A).

sin retorno entre la boca de salida y la válvula de compuerta de ajuste de la velocidad de flujo para evitar una columna de agua peligrosa que exceda 20 metros.
Los tubos siempre deben instalarse usando soportes de sujeción para evitar la transmisión de tensión al cuerpo de la bomba. Tenga cuidado para no dañar ninguna parte como resultado de un apriete excesivo de los tubos al colocarlos.
PUESTA EN MARCHA
ATENCIÓN Siga cuidadosamente las siguientes instrucciones para obtener el mejor desempeño y una vida de servicio prolongada de su bomba. Póngase en contacto con su
Centro de Servicio Autorizado Truper si tiene algún problema.
CONDICIONES DE OPERACIÓN
Estas bombas han sido diseñadas para bombear líquidos limpios neutrales, que no tengan sólidos abrasivos en suspensión, a temperaturas no superiores a 40 °C (104 °F) para las bombas eléctricas con impulsores o difusor de plástico).

Suministro de agua

Se activan para mantener la presión de agua constante siempre que hay una llave abierta

Asegure que el tubo de succión sea completamente hermético y que esté sumergido en agua a medio metro cuando menos para evitar la formación de burbujas de aire. Siempre coloque una válvula de pie al principio del tubo de succión. Es aconsejable colocar una válvula

Llene la bomba completamente con agua limpia antes de encenderla. Retire el tapón roscado de la parte superior del cuerpo de la bomba y coloque agua hasta el nivel del orificio atornille el tapón y encienda la bomba. Esta operación deberá realizarse antes de encender la bomba por primera vez, cuando no haya sido usada por un periodo prolongado o cuando haya entrado aire al sistema.
ADVERTENCIA Nunca opere la bomba cuando esté vacía. Si ocurre esto accidentalmente, apague la bomba, espere a que se enfríe y luego llenela usando agua limpia.

MANTENIMIENTO
Nuestras bombas no requieren de mantenimiento siempre y cuando se tomen las siguientes precauciones. Cuando exista riesgo de congelación, vacié la bomba quitando el tapón de drenado ubicado en la parte inferior del cuerpo de la bomba asegurando que se purgue la bomba cuando se arranque nuevamente; revise que la válvula de pie esté limpia a intervalos regulares; si la bomba va a permanecer inactiva por un período prolongado (por ejemplo, en invierno), es aconsejable vaciarla completamente, enjuagarla con agua limpia y almacenarla en un lugar seco; si la flecha no gira libremente, libérela usando un desarmador, insertándolo en la ranura especial ubicada en la parte trasera de la bomba (Fig. B).

CONEXIONES ELÉCTRICAS

El instalador es responsable de hacer las conexiones

eléctricas al suministro de energía, cumpliendo con

los reglamentos obligatorios correspondientes:

· Note que los reglamentos internacionales requieren

que las instalaciones fijas incorporen un dispositivo

asegurando la desconexión omnipolar de la alimentación de energía. · Asegúrese que las especificaciones de la placa en

relación a la capacidad de la bomba y los valores

de capacidad de la línea sean iguales (Fig. C).

· Conecte la bomba a un circuito a tierra fisica y

después conecte las fases de acuerdo al diagrama

de la cubierta del bloque de terminales o de la placa de datos.

50 cm cuando menos. – Es necesario cebar la bomba otra vez. – Revise la altura de la succión. – Disminuya la longitud del tubo de succión. – Limpie la válvula de pie y todo el tubo de
succión de ser necesario. – Revise la tensión y la ventilación. – Libere el impulsor (ver la sección
de mantenimiento).

Si no se siguen las precauciones anteriores, se puede dañar la bomba y perderse la garantía.

MAINTENANCE
Our pumps need no maintenance provided that the following caution measures are observed. When there is risk of freezing, empty the pump removing the drain cap set in the lower part of the pump body. Assure the pump is choked when starting it back. Regularly check the foot valve. If the pump will be inactive long periods of time (for example, in winter) it is advisable to empty it completely. Rinse the pump with clean water and store in a dry place. If the shaft is not turning freely release it using a screwdriver. Insert the screwdriver in the special slot placed in the pump rear side (Fig. B).

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

The installation technician is responsible to make the electric connections into the power supply in compliance with the corresponding mandatory rules: · Be aware that the international rules require that
the fixed installation incorporate a device assuring the Omni polar disconnection from the power supply. · Make sure that the specifications in the nameplate regarding the pump capacity and the capacity values in the line are equal (Fig. C). · Connect the pump into a physical ground circuit and then connect the phases in accordance with the diagram in the terminal block cover, or in the nameplate.

If the previous caution measures are not followed the pump may get damaged and the warranty is void.

USE OF EXTENSIONS

When using an extension cable, double check you are using the gauge that will suffice to transport the current the pump needs. A lower gauge cable will cause power drops in the line resulting in power loss and motor overheating The following table shows the right size to be used depending on cable’s length and the ampere capability shown in the nameplate. If you have any doubts use the next higher gauge. Remember, the lower the gauge, the heavier the cable will be. Double check the extension cable is in good repair and it has a ground conductor.

INSTALLATION

The pumps shall be installed in a dry place with adequate ventilation. Environment temperature shall not exceed 104 ºF Set the pump in place onto a flat and solid surface. Use the right bolts to prevent vibration. The pump shall be installed in a horizontal position to assure the bearings work properly. The suction pipe diameter shall be smaller than the suction mouth. If the suction height exceeds 13.1 ft use a pipe with a larger diameter. Secure the automatic control to the pump outlet using the union nut (B). Verify that the arrow on the control water outlet points in the direction of the outlet line. The outlet pipe diameter shall be selected according to the flow speed and pressure required in the power take-off points. The suction pipe shall have an upwards angle towards the suction mouth to prevent air locks (Fig. A).

Pipes shall always be installed using fastening supports to prevent tension is transmitted to the pump body. Use care not to damage any part of the pump as a result of excessive fastening of the pipes when installing.
ASSEMBLY
ATTENTION Follow carefully the following instructions to gain the pump best performance and a long service life. If you have any issue contact your Truper Authorized Service Center.
OPERATION CONDITIONS
These pumps are designed to pump clean and neutral liquids that have no abrasive solids suspended in temperature not higher than 140 ºF for electric pumps with drivers or plastic diffuser.

Double check the suction pipe is completely hermetic and is submerged at least half-a- meter to prevent air bubbles formation.

Fill up the pump completely with clean water before turning it on. Remove the threaded cap from the pump’ upper part of the pump body and pour water up to the orifice level. Screw the cap and start the pump. This operation shall be carried out before stating the pump for the first time, when it has not been used for long periods of time or when air enters into the system.
WARNING Never operate the pump when empty. If this happens accidentally, turn off the pump, wait for it to cool down and choke using clean water.

Always install a foot valve in the beginning of the suction pipe. It is advisable to set a non- return valve between the outlet mouth and the flow speed adjust flap to prevent a dangerous water column that exceeds 65.6 ft

Observe all the safety instructions. Failure to comply with this indication may injure the user and third party. Repairs shall only be carried out vin out Truper® Authorized Service Center. Do not use this pump in areas where there are explosives present or near flammable liquids or gasses. Do not expose the pump to rain. do not use the pump around wet areas. Stay assured the pump is in the OFF position and cannot start unintentionally. Do not use a pump if the power switch is not working correctly.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Connect the pump only to a correctly installed and grounded power supply. The fuse shall be a residual current circuit breaker with residual current no higher than 30 mA Before connecting the pump verify the power supply matches the pump connection specifications. The pump shall only be used within the power and electricity limits specified (see the pump nameplate). Do not lift the pump using the cable. Do not use the cable for purposes different to those indicated. Before each use verify the cable. If the cable is damaged disconnect the plug immediately. Never use the pump is the power cable is damaged.
WARNING The tool shall be grounded while in use to prevent an electric shock. · Connect the plug into a correctly grounded power outlet, as shown in Figure A. Not all the power outlets are correctly grounded. If you do not know for sure verify with a qualified electrician. · If the plug destined for the tool is a two-prong (two orifices), FOR NOT REASON AT ALL REMOVE OR ALTER THE GROUND CONDUCTOR SET IN THE PLUG. Use a temporary adapter as shown in Figure B and always connect the ground ring as indicated.

CONNECTING TO THE POWER SUPPLY
DISCONNECT THE POWER UPPLY WHEN MAKING THE CONNECTIONS A BAD CONNECTION TO THE POWER SUPPLY AND GROUND CAN TRIGGER AN ELECTRICK SHOCK 1) For the proper pump installation, check voltage
and current consumption indicated in the motor nameplate. Connect as indicated. 2) Before installing the power supply to the jet pump, be sure you know the right procedure to handle the type of current. If not knowledgeable in this type of installation, see a qualified electrician. 3) When connecting into the system, remember using the cable adequate for the motor current. 4) Select the power cable depending on the distance from the power outlet and current (the motor current consumption). NOTE: Specifications and connections for each type of motor vary with each model. Check the nameplate to install the motor. 5) Install the switch (preferably thermal-magnetic or a fuse) with the capacity according to the motor (current). 6) Before connecting, double check the power tension supplied is correct for a better pump functioning. To prevent power drops, check the conductor gauge is adequate. When the operating distance is too long (more than 65,6 ft.) the cable gauge shall be increased. Tension shall not be higher than and / or lower than 5% of what is indicated in the pump’s motor nameplate. 7) When all the connections are finished and before connecting to the power supply, confirm the switch is open and all cables are duly insulated and protected. The pump shall be installed as near as possible to the main power supply. Check the power supply delivers the same power indicated in the motor nameplate.

B ATTENTION When using an extension cable, verify the gauge is enough for the power that your product needs. A lower gauge cable will cause voltage drop in the line, resulting in power loss and overheating. The following table shows the right size to use depending on cable’s length and the ampere capability shown in the tool’s nameplate. When in doubt use the next higher gauge.

WARNING All the cabling, power connections and the ground connection of the system shall comply with the OFFICIAL MEXICAN STANDARD NOM-001-SEDE, ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS (UTILIZATION) or with the local codes or regulations. Use the services of a qualified electrician.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Keep your work area tidy. Cluttered areas and benches invite injuries. 2. Keep the work area well lit. do not use power tools in the presence of flammable gas or liquids. 3. Guard against electric shock. Prevent body contact with grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators or refrigerators.
4. Keep children away. Children shall never be near work area. Children are not permitted to hold machinery, tools or extension cables. Visitors are not allowed to handle the pump. Keep them away from work area.
5. Store the pump while not in use. When not in use, the pump should be stored in dry and dust free place. Always keep tool locked away from children’s reach.
6. Do not force the tool. It will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was intended. Do not use inappropriate attachments to exceed the pump’s capacity.
7. Use the right power tool. Do not force small tools to do heavy-duty jobs. Do not use power tools for heavy-duty jobs for which it was not designed.
8. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, ties or jewelry. They can be caught in moving parts. Non-skid footwear is recommended. Use protective hair covering to contain long hair. 9. Always wear appropriate safety accessories authorized by the Mexican Official Standard (Norma Oficial Mexicana (NOM).
10. Do not use the power cord for purposes different than those it was intended. Do not carry the pump by the power cord or yank to disconnect it from socket. Protect cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
11. Keep proper footing at all times. Do not try to overreach on top of the machine. Do not walk across the pump when it is running.
12. Do not extend your range of activities. Avoid a standing position that makes you get tired. Keep a safe position and stable balance.
13. Keep tools in the best conditions. To gain better performance keep tools clean. Follow lubrication and appliance replacement instructions. Verify periodically the tool’s cables; if damaged have them repaired in a Truper® Authorized Service Center. Handles should always be clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
14. Disconnect the pump when not in use and before servicing. 15. Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Do not carry a plugged-in pump with your finger onto the switch while connected to the power supply. Be sure switch position is OFF before plugging in power cord. 16. Outdoor extension cords. While outdoors use only extension cords that are equivalent and duly labeled. 17. Stay alert. Watch what you are doing. Exercise common sense. Do not operate tool when tired.
18. Double check damaged parts. Before using the tool, carefully check guards or damaged moving parts. Ascertain proper operation and

performance. Check moving parts alignment, binding, breakage, mounting and any other condition that may affect the pump’s operation. In order to guarantee proper function of the tool, all components should be adequately assembled and in compliance with the requirements. Any worn switch should be replaced in a Truper® Authorized Service Center. Do not operate any power tool if the ON/OFF switch is not working. 19. Parts and accessory replacement. When in need of replacing parts use only original Truper® spare parts designed to be used with this tool.
20. ATTENTION For your personal safety use only accessories or additional equipment specified in these operating instructions or recommended by the pump manufacturer. Using any other accessory not specified in this manual may present risk of personal injury.
21. Ear protection. When performing services with a noise level higher than 85dB wear protective earplugs.
The pump is not designed to be used by people (children included) with diminished physical, sensory or mental capacities, or people with no experience or knowledge in handling the machine, unless they are supervised by a person responsible of their safety or with previous instructions on the pump handling.
ATTENTION Children shall be under constant supervision to prevent they play with the pump. Strict supervision is required when disabled people or children use any power tool or are close to one.
The pump is designed to pump with constant pressure, clean water to supply water to households needs from their tanks and cisterns; to supply water to bath rooms, cleaning and dishwashing machines and to water your yard, can be used as a fountain, as a rain-water pump and industrial water pump. It can also be used in pressurized systems to increase the isostatic pressure. It shall not be used to pump drinking water or to water edible produce. Do not pump sea water, residual water, water coming out from a well or flammable, corrosive, explosive or dangerous liquids. Do not pump fuel or aggressive materials or health hazardous substances or feces. The pump shall only be used under the allowed restrictions regarding performance. The pump is not adequate for commercial or industrial uses. It is designed only for household use. Any other use different to the ones described is inadequate. Inadequate use or modifications to the pump or using components that have not been proven or approved by the manufacturer may result in unforeseen damage. Any use diverting from the intended use and that is not included in these instructions will be considered as non-authorized and will release the manufacturer of their legal responsibility.
