Special tools and workshop equipment required
- Commercially available/4-inch ratchet
- TORX 30
Removing
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to
⇒ “5.1 Engine Cover with Air Filter Element”, page 28. - Disconnect the vacuum lines -arrows-.
- Remove the bracket -arrow- for the harness.
- Disconnect the electrical connections -1, 2, and 3-.
- Remove bracket for cable connector -arrows- from coolant pipe.
Note
Open the nut with the left arrow just enough so that the bracket can be moved to the side. - Carefully pry off linkage from intake flap motor -4-.
- Remove intake flap motor -5- .
Note
The illustration shows the intake manifold removed.
Installing
Installation is in reverse order.
