CHAMPION 201120 4650W Dual Fuel Electric Start Inverter Generator

Set-Up

1. Open shipping carton. ° Assembly > Unpacking
2. Connect the battery. ° Assembly > Connect the Battery.
   Push two halves of battery connector together tightly.
3. Add oil. ° Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
   Recommended: 10W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.
4. Move the generator outdoors.
   1. Move generator to an open, outdoor area.
      Point exhaust away. Never run a generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in house or garage).
   2. Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.
5. Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG)
   Assembly > Add Fuel
6. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices
7. Starting the Engine: Gasoline
   1. Electric Start
      1. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position.
      2. Press and hold ignition switch.
      3. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position.
   2. Manual Start
      1. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position.
      2. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
      3. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position.
   3. Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)
      1. Encender el motor: Propane (GLP) Electric Start : Propane (LPG)
         1. Open the propane tank valve.
         2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position.
         3. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position for 3-5 seconds.
         4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position.
         5. Press and hold the ignition switch to the “START” position.
      2. Manual Start : Propane (LPG)
         1. Open the propane tank valve.
         2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “CHOKE” position.
         3. Pull the recoil 3-5 times to prime the engine.
         4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the “RUN” position.
         5. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
8. Plug in. ° Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
