DANGER

MOVE GENERATOR OUTDOORS.

Using a generator indoors CAN KILL YOU IN MINUTES. The generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide. This is a poison you cannot see or smell.
NEVER use inside a home or garage, EVEN IF doors and windows are open.
ONLY use OUTSIDE and far away from windows, doors, and vents.
WARNING

This QuickStart Guide IS NOT a substitute for the Operator’s Manual.  Failure to operate the product correctly could result in damage to the product, and personal property or cause serious injury or death.

NOTICE

Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials.

 Set-Up

1. Shipping Support. Assembly > Remove Shipping Support Hardware.
2. Connect the battery. Assembly > Connect the Battery. Push two halves of battery connector together tightly.
3. Add oil. Assembly > Add Engine Oil. Recommended: 5W-30, up to 16.9 fl. oz. (500 ml) DO NOT overfill.
4. Move the generator outdoors
   ONLY USE OUTSIDE AND FAR AWAY FROM WINDOWS, DOORS, AND VENTS.

   Start-Up 

5. Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG) Assembly > Add Fuel
   FOR GASOLINE OPERATION: DO NOT USE E15 OR E85
6. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices.
   NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!
7. Starting the Engine: Gasoline
   Electric Start
   1. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
   2. Press and hold ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.
   3. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.

Manual Start

1. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
2. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
3. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position. Start-Up
   Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)
   7b. Electric Start

1. Open the propane tank valve.
2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
3. Press and hold the ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.
4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
5. Press and hold the ignition switch on EZ Start Dial.

Manual Start

1. Open the propane tank valve.
2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “CHOKE” position.
3. Pull the recoil 2-3 times to prime the engine.
4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the full “RUN” position.
