Product Usage Instructions
- Select the appropriate size and type of cable to be used with the cable gland.
- Ensure that the cable is clean and free from any damage or defects.
- Remove any excess outer sheath from the cable to expose the conductor wires.
- Insert the cable through the cable gland and tighten the locknut until the gland is securely fastened onto the cable.
- Apply a suitable sealant compound around the cable sheath to create a watertight seal.

- Ensure that all connections are secure and properly insulated.
- Verify that the cable gland is installed in the appropriate hazardous area according to the explosion protection certificate and local regulations.

PXSS2K series metal Ex d and Ex e barrier cable entries are suitable for unarmoured cables and cables with wire- braid armouring. They are equipped with a compound barrier. They feature a displacement seal for the outer cable sheath coupled with a double flood seal with integral protection.
