Product Information

The product is a light fixture that requires assembly and

Installation Instructions

1. Adjust the arms of the fixture to the proper position.
2. Attach the mounting unit to the junction box using the mounting
   screws.
3. Attach the canopy, screw collar ring, fixture finial, cover,
   nipple and nut, and fixture to the mounting unit.
4. Choose the length of the chain needed and attach it to the
   fixture finial.
5. Pass the chain and branch wires through the screw collar ring
   and canopy. Attach the end of the chain to the mounting unit and
   feed the branch wires through the pipe nipple on the mounting
   unit.
6. Make the electrical connection from the junction box to the
   fixture. Connect the ground wire to the mounting unit using the
   preinstalled green ground screw. Then, connect the positive,
   negative, and ground wires with the supplied wire nuts. Secure with
   electrical tape.
7. Secure the canopy to the mounting unit with the screw collar
   ring.
8. Attach the glass shade onto the fixture using holders and
   stem.
9. Install a bulb (not included).

Note: The black or red wire (hot) from the junction box should
be connected to the smooth side of wire from the fixture identified
with the label L. The white wire (neutral) from the junction box
should be connected to the ribbed side of wire from the fixture
identified with the label N. The bare or green ground wire from the
junction box should be connected to the ground wire from the
fixture using the preinstalled green ground screw. Sealing tape is
not included.

CAUTION

³Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have resulted during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation.

TOOLS REQUIRED

³Before starting installation of this fixture or removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by
removing the fuse at the fuse box.

STEP 4
1 . Choose the length of the chain you need (Open the chain using a phillips screwdriver (not included) and pliers (not included). )
2. Attach the end of the chain to the fixture finial.

STEP 5
1 . Pass the chain and the branch wires through the screw collar ring and canopy.
2. Attach the end of the chain to the mounting unit.
3. Feed the branch wires through the pipe nipple on the mounting unit.

STEP 6
Make the electrical connection from the junction box to the fixture. Connect the ground wire to the mounting unit using the preinstalled green ground screw. Then, connect the positive, negative and ground wires with the supplied wire nuts. Secure with electrical tape.
