Product Information

The product is a light fixture that comes with all the necessary
hardware required for installation. The package includes a mounting
unit, wire nuts, canopy, chain, ball nuts, and mounting screws. The
fixture requires assembly and installation, and the following tools
are necessary for the installation process: ladder, safety glasses,
electrical Phillips screwdriver, flat blade screwdriver, pliers,
and wire strippers. The product also requires bulbs (not
included).

Product Usage Instructions

Step 1: Mounting Unit Installation

  1. Unscrew the ball nuts from the mounting unit.
  2. Use the mounting screws to attach the mounting unit to the
    junction box.

Step 2: Chain Installation

  1. Choose the length of chain needed and open it using a Phillips
    screwdriver and pliers.
  2. Open the quick link and attach it to the fixture. Close the
    quick link.

Step 3: Canopy and Fixture Wire Installation

  1. Weave the fixture wire and fixture ground wire through the
    chain and canopy.
  2. Open the quick link and attach it to the canopy. Close the
    quick link.

Step 4: Electrical Connection

  1. Make the electrical connection from the junction box to the
    fixture.
  2. Connect the ground wire to the mounting unit using the
    preinstalled green ground screw.
  3. Connect the positive, negative, and ground wires with the
    supplied wire nuts.
  4. Secure with electrical tape.

Step 5: Canopy Installation

  1. Attach the canopy to the mounting screws through screw holes as
    shown.
  2. Secure the canopy with ball nuts.

Step 6: Bulb Installation

  1. Install bulbs (not included).

Note: The product may differ slightly from the
parts shown in the manual.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION

³Inspect the wire insulation for any cuts, abrasions, or exposed copper that may have resulted during shipping. If there is a defect in the wire, do not attempt installation.

TOOLS REQUIRED

³Before starting installation of this fixture or removal of a previous fixture, disconnect the power by turning off the circuit breaker or by
removing the fuse at the fuse box.

INSTALLATION

STEP 1
Unscrew the ball nuts from the mounting unit. Use the mounting screws to attach the mounting unit to the junction box.

STEP 2
1 . Choose the length of the chain you need (Open the chain using a phillips screwdriver (not included) and pliers (not included). )
2. Open the quick link. Then attach it to the fixture. Close the quick link.

STEP 3
1 . Weave the fixture wire and the fixture ground wire through the chain and canopy.
2. Open the quick link. Then attach it to the canopy. Close the quick link.

STEP 4
Make the electrical connection from the junction box to the fixture. Connect the ground wire to the mounting unit using the preinstalled green ground screw. Then, connect the positive, negative and ground wires with the supplied wire nuts. Secure with electrical tape.

Black or Red wire (hot) from the junction box
White wire (neutral) from the junction box
Bare or Green ground wire from the junction box
*Sealing tape (not included)

Smooth side of wire from the fixture identified with the label “L”
Ribbed side of wire from the fixture identified with the label “N”
Ground wire from the Fixture
*Green Ground Screw

STEP 5
Attach the canopy to the mounting screws through screw holes as shown, and secure it with ball nuts.

STEP 6
Install bulbs (not included)
