HEC7030-BF LED Driver Sensor Head

Product Information

The HEC7030/BF is a DALI-2 DT6 dimmable LED driver + Bluetooth
sensor head with a maximum power output of 30W. It features a
detached design, allowing for optional motion detection for
lighting manufacturers. When the Bluetooth sensor head is
unattached, it functions solely as a DALI-2 DT6 LED driver. When
the Bluetooth sensor head is attached, it becomes a LED driver +
sensor combo. With Bluetooth wireless mesh networking, it enables
easy communication between luminaires without the need for
hardwiring, ultimately saving costs for projects. The device can be
set up and commissioned easily using the dedicated smartphone
app.

Technical Specifications

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the driver, ensure that the correct current
is selected.

2. Download and install the dedicated smartphone app for both
iOS and Android platforms.

3. Open the app and choose between the quick setup mode or
advanced setup mode.

4. Use the app to configure the desired settings for your
luminaires, such as grouping, scenes, motion sensor settings,
dimming preferences, and schedule-based automation.

5. For push switch configuration, follow the instructions
provided in the app.

6. Utilize the floorplan feature to simplify project
planning.

7. For web-based project management, access the web app/platform
at www.iot.koolmesh.com.

8. If using an iPad, use the Koolmesh Pro app for on-site
configuration.

9. Ensure proper power supply and connectivity to the
luminaires.

10. Enjoy the wireless communication between luminaires enabled
by the Bluetooth wireless mesh networking feature.

11. Take advantage of additional features such as astro timer,
staircase function, IoT integration, and remote control via gateway
support.

12. The device firmware can be updated over-the-air (OTA) for
continuous improvement and bug fixes.

13. For commissioning multiple devices, use the bulk
commissioning feature to copy and paste settings.

14. The device has short-circuit protection, open-circuit
protection, and overload protection for safety.

15. The HEC7030/BF LED driver + sensor head comes with a 5-year

HEC7030/BF is DALI-2 DT6 dimmable LED driver + Bluetooth sensor

head in detached design with maximum power output of 30W. Such

detached design is flexible with optional motion detection for lighting

manufacturers; with Bluetooth sensor head unattached, HEC7030/BF

is solely a DALI-2 DT6 LED driver; with Bluetooth sensor head attached,

it becomes a LED driver + sensor combo. With Bluetooth wireless mesh

Dimming Interface Operation Notes
DALI
This series of products are supplied as `plug n’play DALI’ or `independent DALI’ system ready. These models are also fully DALI addressable and may be assigned to groups within the limits specified by the DALI protocol or supporting DALI controllers by using a DALI programming tool.

Switch-Dim
The provided Switch-Dim interface allows for a simple dimming method using commercially available non-latching (momentary) wall switches. Up to 64 LED drivers maybe connected to one switch.
