DALI-2 DT6 Dimmable LED Driver Bluetooth Sensor

Product Information

The HEC7030/BF is a DALI-2 DT6 dimmable LED driver + Bluetooth
sensor head in a detached design. It has a maximum power output of
30W. The detached design allows for flexibility, with the option
for motion detection for lighting manufacturers. When the Bluetooth
sensor head is unattached, it functions solely as a DALI-2 DT6 LED
driver. When the Bluetooth sensor head is attached, it becomes a
LED driver + sensor combo. The device utilizes Bluetooth wireless
mesh networking, making communication between luminaires easier
without the need for hardwiring, ultimately saving costs for
projects. The device can be easily set up and commissioned using a
smartphone app.

Product Usage Instructions

Warning: Please make sure to select the correct
current before starting the driver!

To use the HEC7030/BF LED driver + sensor combo, follow these
steps:

  1. Ensure that the Bluetooth sensor head is properly attached to
    the LED driver if you want to utilize the sensor functionality. If
    not, proceed to the next step.
  2. Connect the input mains voltage to the LED driver. The mains
    voltage should be within the range of 220-240VAC and have a
    frequency of 50/60Hz.
  3. Select the desired output current based on your requirements.
    The available options are 900mA, 750mA, 700mA, 550mA, 500mA, and
    350mA.
  4. Connect the LED load to the LED driver’s output terminals,
    ensuring proper polarity.
  5. Configure the dimming interface according to your needs. The
    LED driver supports DALI-2 with DALI feedback, Switch-Dim (Push
    switch), and 1KHz PWM dimming.
  6. If necessary, adjust the dimming settings using the provided
    DIP switches to achieve the desired constant current (CC)
    output.
  7. Make sure to protect the LED driver against short-circuits,
    open-circuits, and overloads.
  8. Once everything is set up, power on the LED driver and verify
    that the connected luminaires are functioning as expected.

Note: For more advanced features and configuration options, you
can use the smartphone app available for both iOS and Android
platforms. The app allows for easy device setup and
commissioning.

HEC7030/BF is DALI-2 DT6 dimmable LED driver + Bluetooth sensor

head in detached design with maximum power output of 30W. Such

detached design is flexible with optional motion detection for lighting

manufacturers; with Bluetooth sensor head unattached, HEC7030/BF

is solely a DALI-2 DT6 LED driver; with Bluetooth sensor head attached,

it becomes a LED driver + sensor combo. With Bluetooth wireless mesh

networking, it makes communication between luminaires much easier

without time-consuming hardwiring, which eventually saves costs for

Dimming Interface Operation Notes
DALI
This series of products are supplied as `plug n’play DALI’ or `independent DALI’ system ready. These models are also fully DALI addressable and may be assigned to groups within the limits specified by the DALI protocol or supporting DALI controllers by using a DALI programming tool.

Switch-Dim
The provided Switch-Dim interface allows for a simple dimming method using commercially available non-latching (momentary) wall switches. Up to 64 LED drivers maybe connected to one switch.

Switch Action Short press (<0.4 second) Note: short press has to be longer
