WHAT IS A FAN COIL?
Day & Night fan coils are designed for enhanced durability and comfort. The fan coil is an indoor section that needs to be properly matched with an outdoor air conditioner or heat pump. The indoor and outdoor sections can be customized to provide air conditioning, heat pump heating, and/or electric heating.
WHAT MATTERS IN A FAN COIL?
ENERGY SAVINGS
SEER2 (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) measures the cooling efficiency of air conditioners and heat pumps during an average cooling season. The higher the SEER2, the greater the energy economy. Our fan coils are designed to maximize the performance of a matched Day & Night air conditioner or heat pump, and many of them can actually boost the published cooling efficiency (SEER2) for even greater savings.
DURABILITY
All Day & Night fan coils include comfort enhancing and durable features to deliver lasting performance, including a corrosion-resistant all-aluminum coil and a corrosion-free sloped drain pan design that helps reduce mold and bacteria buildup.
HUMIDITY MANAGEMENT
When installed with a humidity-sensing thermostat and matched outdoor unit, Day & Night fan coils can provide added comfort and efficiency through humidity management during the cooling season.
