BDA 559 V3 PowerCON TRUE1 TOP
Product Information
The powerCON TRUE1 TOP connector system is a cable connector and
chassis designed for secure and reliable power connections. It is
important to regularly check the condition of the connector system
for signs of wear and tear to ensure safe usage.
Improper use and excessive force can cause the encoding lugs and
guide slots in the connector system to become severely worn or
damaged. This may result in the cable connector being inserted the
wrong way. However, when inserted incorrectly, the cable connector
should not twist-lock into place.
Inserting a cable connector/plug connector the wrong way can
potentially lead to contact between live wires and the grounding
contact in the plug socket. It is crucial to follow the usage
instructions and ensure proper insertion and twist-locking to
prevent electrical hazards.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before connecting, inspect the condition of the powerCON TRUE1
TOP connector system for any signs of wear or damage. - Ensure that the notch on the cable connector matches the
corresponding guide slot on the chassis. - Insert the cable connector properly into the chassis, aligning
it with illustration A. - Twist the cable connector clockwise to lock it securely in
place. - Listen for a click sound during the twist-locking process to
confirm proper insertion. - If a connector does not twist-lock correctly or if there is no
audible click, immediately unplug it. - Do not apply excessive force when connecting or disconnecting
the cable connector.
Safety Warning: Incorrect insertion of the
cable connector may cause electrical contact misalignment,
resulting in equipment malfunction and/or personal injury. Always
ensure proper insertion and twist-locking as per the
instructions.

SAFETY NOTICE
powerCON® TRUE1 TOP
Please regularly check the condition of your powerCON TRUE1 TOP connector system (cable connector & chassis) for clear signs of wear and tear.
Through improper use and the excessive use of force, the encoding lugs and guide slots in the connector system can become so severely worn or damaged that it is possible to insert the cable connector the wrong way. However, when inserted the wrong way, the cable connector should not twist-lock into place.
A cable connector/plug connector inserted the wrong way could, in some circumstances, lead to contact between live wires and the grounding contact in the plug socket.
To determine that the cable connector/plug connector is inserted correctly, follow the use instructions and listen for the “click” when performing the twist-lock. Immediately unplug any connector that does not twist-lock correctly in place.
