Product Information:
The product is item#2472-84, a fixture that requires
installation. It comes with a mounting plate, ground screw,
mounting screws, and fixture wires. The fixture is designed to be
connected to the electrical system of a house.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power
is shut off at the fuse box or circuit breaker box. - Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
- Unpack the new fixture carefully and lay out all the parts in a
clear area. Make sure not to misplace any small parts required for
installation. - Loosen screws (D) to remove the mounting plate (A) from the
fixture body (C). - Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not
included) using the mounting screws (B) (SIZE: #8-32N, L0.5).
Ensure that the side of the mounting plate marked GND faces
out. - Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2:
- Connect the fixture wires (Black or Smooth) to the house wires
(Black – Hot). - Connect the fixture wires (White or Ribbed) to the house wires
(White – Neutral). - Connect the fixture wires (Green or Bare Copper – Ground) to
the house wires (Green – Ground).

MOUNTING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1) 1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box
and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware. 2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clear area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation. 3. Loosen screws (D) to remove mounting plate (A) from fixture body (C). 4. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction boxnot included using the mounting screws (B) (SIZE:
#8-32N, L0.5″). The side of the mounting plate marked “GND”must face out.
CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) 5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 2,
making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. After the wires are connected, tuck them carefully inside the junction box. FINISHING THE INSTALLATION (Fig.1) 6. Place fixture body (C) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (D). 7. Slide glass shade (E) followed by metal ring (F) over the socket and secure using tool (G). 8. Install (2) two medium base bulbs (H) up to 60 watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)
