The KD series have external rotor motors with a new type of mixed flow impeller which reduces the external dimensions of the fans. These fans have a high capacity in relation to their compact design. Brackets are supplied with the fans to make installation easier. The FK mounting clamp facilitates easy installation and removal and prevents the transfer of vibrations to the duct. To protect the motor from overheating the fan has integral thermal contacts with leads to a motor protection device. The casing is manufactured from galvanised sheet steel.

KD 400XL1 Circular duct fan DN 400, 230V/50Hz, 1~, galv. steel sheet Centrifugal circular duct fan designed for easy and direct installation in ducts. Casing is manufactured from folded and galvanised sheet steel. Free-running diagonal, backward curved mixed flow impeller made of composite material. Balancing made to G 6.3, motor compl. with impeller statically and dynamically balanced in two planes acc. to DIN ISO 1940 T.1. High efficiency and low noise level. Voltage controllable external rotor motor (IP44), maintenance-free, the motor is placed inside the air flow for cooling.
