1a Dimensions
Connections
1b Bell Transformer must be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the current IET Wiring Regulations BS 7671.
1c Total load must not exceed the rating of the bell transformer or any additional limitation.
2 Installation
2a Switch OFF mains power before installation.
2b Bell Transformer must be mounted vertically in a suitable enclosure with din rail.
2c Ensure main connections are connected to bottom terminals, as shown in the diagram, and are secure and correctly torqued. Ensure that no insulation is trapped within the terminal cage.
2d Select the output voltage required (8V, 16V or 24V) for your bell and connect to the corresponding top terminals. Again ensure only bare wire is tightened in the terminal cages and that ALL connections are correctly torqued.
2e Check ALL connections before switching ON mains power.
3 Testing
3a On completion of the installation, it must be tested in accordance with the latest edition of the IET Wiring Regulations for Electrical Installations (BS 7671).
