Product Information

The product is an indoor light fixture with the item number
2678-695. It has a metal panel, a metal frame, and glass panels
that enclose eight sockets for candelabra base bulbs. The fixture
can accommodate up to 60 watts each of incandescent bulbs or their
LED or CFL equivalents. The fixture comes with candle covers and a
mounting plate with ground and mounting screws. It requires power
from a junction box and has three fixture wires: black/smooth,
white/ribbed, and bare copper (ground). The fixture comes with
installation instructions that must be followed for proper
installation.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box before
    installing the fixture.
  2. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the
    provided ground screw and mounting screws.
  3. Connect the house wires to the fixture wires: black/smooth to
    black/hot, white/ribbed to white/neutral, and bare copper to
    green/ground.
  4. Align the metal panel to the metal frame and secure with
    screws.
  5. Install the glass panels into the metal frame and secure with
    tabs and plastic sleeves.
  6. Place the metal frame over the socket and secure with an allen
    screw using an allen wrench.
  7. Place the candle covers over the sockets.
  8. Install up to eight candelabra base bulbs, making sure not to
    exceed the maximum wattage rating of 60 watts per bulb.
  9. Turn on power to the junction box and test the fixture.

PREPARATION (Fig.1) 1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box
and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware. 2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for installation. ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig. 1) 3. Determine the desired hanging height and thread rods (F1, F2 and F3) to all thread (G) on the fixture body. Attach canopy (D) by screwing onto rod (F1). Carefully pass the wires through each rod during assembly. 4. Attach the mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not included) with mounting screws (B) (Size: #8-32N*L0.5″). The side of the mounting plate (A) with “GND” marked on it and two convex points must face out. CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2) 5. Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig 2, making sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. 6. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box. COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) 7. Place canopy (D) over mounting plate (A) and secure with screws (E).
8. Align metal panel (O) to metal frame (K) and secure
with screws (P).
9. Install glass panels (J) into metal frame (K) and secure
with the tabs and plastic sleeve provided. 10. Place metal frame (K) over socket (N) and secure with
allen screw (L) using allen wrench (M). 11. Place candle covers (I) over sockets (N). 12. Install (8) eight candelabra base bulbs (H) up to 60
watts each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in
accordance with the fixture specification–DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS
DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!).
Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.
