Product Information:
The product is a lighting fixture that requires assembly and
installation. It comes with a hardware package that includes a
mounting strap unit (A), mounting screw (B), wire connector (C),
finial (D), quick link (E), chain (F), and assembly kit 6522MM.
The installation steps involve attaching the mounting strap unit
to the outlet box, securing the fixture rods with mounting screws,
weaving the fixture wires through the chain and canopy, making wire
connections using wire connectors, attaching the canopy to the
mounting strap unit with a threaded pipe, and putting all wires
back into the outlet box.
The product is compatible with 3 x 60W medium base bulbs. The
maximum wattage allowed should be checked on the relamping label at
the socket area or packaging.
Spare parts are available for re-order if damaged or missing,
including the mounting strap unit, mounting screw, wire connector,
finial, quick link, assembly kit 6522MM, and chain.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Turn off the power at the fuse or circuit box.
- Attach the mounting strap unit (A) to the outlet box by
securing it with two mounting screws (B). - Weave the fixture wires through the chain (F) and canopy.
Connect the two chains (F) to the canopy and fixture loops with
four quick links (E). - Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire
connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:- Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the
black wire (hot) from the power source. - Connect the ribbed-coated wire (unmarked) from the fixture to
the white wire (neutral) from the power source. - Attach the fixture ground wire (bare wire) to the mounting
strap unit (A) with the green ground screw. Then, depending on
local code, connect it to the house ground wire with a wire
connector (C).
- Connect the smooth-coated wire (marked) from the fixture to the
